About this property

Romantic Cabin Getaway

Located north of Leakey in Rancho Real, this cabin is ideal for a romantic getaway vacation. The cabin overlooks Bluff Creek which feeds into the west prong of the Frio River.
Enjoy listening to the water flowing from the private dam spillway. The deck is perfect just for hanging out, watching the fish and birds below, or entertaining and cooking on the grill.
Just added: Awesome Palapa with hanging bed, hanging chair, lights, fan, Alexa and unbelievable view.
NOTE: This property is not suitable for children.
The very charming cabin can sleep 3. There is a very comfortable queen bed, and a single sleeper sofa with a memory foam topper. There is a small refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishes, and utensils, linens and towels. Fire television with ceiling fans, Furnished in rustic decor, it boasts a beautiful large stained glass window emitting soft light into the room.
Very nice decks and a private hot tub, out door shower.
This property location IS NOT for motorcycles.
Upon your arrival, enjoy wine waiting for you in the cabin.
Wifi calling on your cell otherwise...
Cell phone service is not available due to being in the canyon, however; there is a phone in the cabin

Had the best time here and will absolutely be back! Chris was so kind and welcoming, and the cabin was incredibly clean, cozy, and just overall amazing. We loved relaxing while watching the hummingbirds, swimming in the Frio, playing with her sweet pups, and going on the hike. Such a peaceful and beautiful getaway. I highly recommend staying here!

I’m not kidding when I say.. This place was amazing! We had the best weekend getaway imaginable. We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine and a welcome note upon arrival. The property was absolutely beautiful and there was so much to see and the sound of the water flowing over the dam was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed every single minute of our stay. It rained most of the whole day we were there but we didn’t even care at all because we enjoyed the entire experience and beautiful views and hummingbirds and cardinals and dogs and chickens and just everything! The description is accurate and we had no problem cooking our meals and we enjoyed all the place had to offer. Chris is absolutely the best and it was such a pleasure to meet her. We hope to be back in the near future and stay even longer next time.

My wife and I came out for our 20th wedding anniversary and to say this was a great choice is an understatement! This area is simply magical and we enjoyed every second of our stay. Chris and Gary(and their doggies and chickens)are very gracious hosts and made sure our stay was extra special. The cabin is so quaint and cozy…just perfect for a couple. Oh, and we couldn’t recommend the hot tub at sunset enough. This property is so relaxing, so peaceful and so thoughtfully designed. All that AND you have access to the Frio River, along with the sound of the water rushing over the dam outside your window. Just divine. All in all, we were very, very pleased with the entire experience and can’t wait to get back out there!

Amazing trip

We came here for our honeymoon and loved every second. Chris and Gary were amazing, the cabin was perfect, and the scenery indescribably beautiful ❤️. We can't wait to come back!

The cabin was very cozy and peaceful. Chris was a tentative host and we had an enjoyable weekend. Panda was an excellent hiking guide and the hot tub felt amazing after a day of hiking at Garner State Park. It was a cold weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the outside lounging but we hope to go back take advantage! :)

Beautiful stay at min paradis

The property was beautiful, with sculptures, back patio overlooking the dam and creek, many kinds of birds, and even a nice hiking trail. Everything that we needed was provided, and Chris took good care of us. We highly recommend staying there.
