“Turtle Rock” is a beatiful waterfront home conveniently located in a quiet cove on lake LBJ in Kingsland. One minute from the grocery store and darling coffee/breakfast shops and restaurants, the location can’t be beat. The home is quiet and perfect for families, tucked in the cove, you can enjoy the water without the boat waves. The home has become a guest favorite because of its charm, extremely comfortable beds and custom designer finishes. Perfect for bringing your own boat with the boat launch nearby, or rent a boat at the rental company walking distance from the home, they'll even deliver the boat right to the home. The covered porch is perfect for relaxing after a day on the lake, with comfortable outdoor furniture and peaceful views of the water. Bring your fishing poles and enjoy the connivence of fishing right off the dock in the back yard. A kayak and paddle boat are provided with the home for your enjoyment.

Fully remodeled from the 1950's, in this charming home you'll have a private master bedroom with king size pillow top mattress and on-suite bathroom with walk in shower. You'll have a guest bedroom with a queen size pillow top mattress bed and another guest room with a full/twin bunkbed with additional pullout twin bed. Another full bathroom with walk in shower is located centrally in the home for everyone's use. A fully stocked kitchen with countertop space for prepping and a farmhouse dining table to enjoy a meal together. The living room is impossible not to cozy up in after a day on the water, with a large sectional, views of the water and a smart TV. Enjoy the outdoors on the covered porch and under the large oak tree in the back yard. Fishing poles not provided but encouraged as this home is the perfect spot to enjoy some fishing. Parking spaces for 2-3 cars or enough space for a truck and boat trailer.
You'll feel very safe in this quiet neighborhood and secure keypad entry.

This home is located in a cove of the Llano arm of lake LBJ in Kingsland. At certain times of the year the water levels rise and fall. In the later summer months water levels may be lower and more stagnant in the cove. Access to the main water is less than 5 minutes at required no wake speed.

Great property, very well furnished and decorated for a great lake house feel. We stayed based on the location nearby Austin, Enchanted rock, Fredericksburg and other hill country options. Highly recommend.

Cozy cottage on LBJ

This cute cottage was very comfortable and well stocked for our family vacation. The location on LBJ was convenient. You could almost walk to HEB and a quick boat ride to wake point or boat town. Our host was quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating.

Making Family memories with grandkids!

The lake house was charming, beds was very comfortable, it was nice having a washer n dryer with seven grandkids. After a long day paddle boating and kayaking, we truly enjoyed the TV and just relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Great Place!

We stayed over the New Years holiday. The house is located right in town and super convenient to everything. Boat access is great too, but the water is fairly shallow by the house. The house is cozy and comfortable. The weather was nice so we enjoyed the back porch and being just steps away from lake made the fishing easy.

Perfect Relaxation

Perfect cottage similar to Florida's Seaside Community. Spotless! Enjoyed our family visit there. Resides on Cove - easy access to Lake LBJ with jet skiis and boats. Cove safe for canoes, etc. Easy walking to HEB, Donut Shop, Dairy Queen, etc.

Beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing

This is a great three-bedroom floor plan with an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living areas. There are lots of windows and natural light. It is very close to HEB and the main roads. It is a quiet area, very clean, and comfortable. The beds were comfy, and I especially loved the soft and cozy quilts. We're keeping this one on our list for future trips to the area.

Perfect Fishing Getaway

This trip was to give my 20 yr old and 9 yr old a place to fish while I could have a place to relax as needed. This home was the perfect fit! My sons fished, I was able to watch and spend time with them without being on a boat all day. We also went down to the bait shop and fished off the property there. It was a great weekend trip and I would definitely stay here again!! Great house, super clean, very cute decor, super close to other places to see and close to HEB for supplies.

Lovely Lakehouse in Kingsland

We enjoyed our stay in Kingsland. The house was very clean and well-stocked. We liked the seating arrangement in the family room, there was comfortable seating for all six of us. The suggestions I would make would be 1) more hooks/places to hang clothing - there are no closets, and 2) a storage unit or table in the bathroom off the kitchen for guests to place their toiletries. I would stay here again. We had a wonderful time.

The lake water behind the home was dirty and murky. I would not recommend for anyone who has kids who want to swim or anyone with jet skis. The murky, dirty water will destroy the jet ski intake.

We loved our stay at Turtlerock Lake House!

We loved our stay at the Turtlerock Lake House! Tricia has done a wonderful job of making it feel cozy and relaxing. There were 10 of us who stayed and we all had plenty of room to spread out to including one of our favorite areas, the back porch. It was so peaceful and relaxing listening to the birds and watching the ducks and turtles. We also really enjoyed the big farm table. It was perfect for our family meals and for playing games. The house is very close to an HEB and just 15 minutes from Marble Falls, Inks Lake, and Longhorn Caverns. All of our family was so impressed with how nice the house was and how quick Tricia responded to any questions we had. My family is hoping to return back here soon! We highly recommend staying here if you are searching for something in this area!

Just what I family needed to escape this loud and crazy world

The host was amazing and we loved the property. Not only was the space clean, but it smelled fresh and everything had its place and was decorated beautifully. The home had all the amenities you would need, just bring yourselves and the food. My teens were comfortable, They enjoyed walking outside to the Kayaks and paddle boats to take off whenever they wanted. Plenty of shade and easy access to wherever you wanted to go in Kingsland. The property is a few hundred yards away from the a famous home that was used in a scary movie in the 1970s. Kids loved that! If you want to get your mind off of life, and want a charming and relaxing home to fish, float and relax, then this is the one!!!! Perfect for a romantic couples getaway, friends or the family! We will be staying again and again!

Cute comfort in a great location

Our family of 8(7months-80 years) had a great time at Turtle Rock House! Even in the heat the shady front porch overlooking the lake was comfortable and pleasant! The open living/kitchen area was comfortable with plenty of room to be together without feeling crowded. The shade trees kept the plant life from being overgrown in the water making it a nice place to float. The house came with kayaks which we enjoyed. The beds were comfortable. The rooms are small and not lots of storage so you will live out of the suitcase in the secondary rooms. The washer and dryer were helpful with the baby. The kitchen was well stocked! The house is decorated with great. Attention to detail and is very cute. The location is close to everything you need and yet you feel away from everything right on the water! We all agreed we would stay there again!

Kingsland Weekend Getaway

We had a fabulous weekend stay at Turtle Rock. The house is very comfortable and well stocked. The setting on the lake with great water views and big shade trees is beautiful and so relaxing. Everything about our stay was perfect and we highly recommend Turtle Rock!

Great property we went to for our son’s graduation weekend getaway with all of our adult children! Did not disappoint at all everything was comfortable and well stocked! This vacation home is a perfect fit for our family with only a one hour drive to get there. We love the location because of the quiet tucked away neighborhood but yet a quick walk to grocery or restaurants. We have vacationed in Kingsland for over 8 years and are blessed to have found and renovated this home.
