The view of the waterway was absolutely breathtaking! The house is centrally located for day trips to all the great keeweenaw locations! Amanda is responds quickly to address any questions or concerns. There was very minimal to do to check out and it was a breeze. We enjoyed our 4 days and definitely will stay there again in the future.
We loved our stay at this beautiful house. Very clean home, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and laundry came in handy. Only drawback is highway out front very busy for walking but home set back far enough so noise not an issue. Highly recommend!
This large house accommodated the eight of us well, including one disabled person. We enjoyed the expansive view of the Portage out front and the back entrance was navigable with a walker, both big pluses.
Waterfront view, country like setting. Very clean, comfortable furniture and beds. This location was perfect for seeing all the sites in the UP. House was extremely well stocked down to the last details. Host was very responsive, we had no issues. There was ample parking for 2 SUV's and a boat. Boat lunches near by. Host will detail you all the way from check in to check out.
Great place, clean, perfectly set up for a family (and pet). Nice yard for pet play. Close to all we wanted to do in the Keewanaw (east coast to Copper Harbor and down the west coast back to Hancock, excellent fishing and boating, porcupine mountain activities were only an hour and a half, GREAT rock hunting several area beaches, close to walking and bike trails near MTU and McLain State park. Gino’s just down the street had great food and atmosphere (outdoor seating/drinks were great). Beds were very comfortable, great deck for enjoying evenings sunsets. Throughly enjoyed our stay!!
The house was nice, clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The host also did not require you to do an excessive amount of cleaning at check-out either, like some hosts have moved towards, and I very much appreciated that. Check in and check out were smooth and easy. The house has a nice view of the lake and is quiet and peaceful. It was about 10-15 minutes from town and easy access to some local parks. I would definitely recommend this place.
Our family had a great stay! The home was spacious, clean, welcoming and the kitchen is stocked with everything you might need! We Will definitely recommend and return to this amazing home.
Great place to stay for a ski weekend at mount Bohemia!Very comfortable and homey place. Place was clean and the beds were comfortable. The huge garage was a great perk, snowed the whole time we were here and was able to load and unload my vehicle straight from the garage and it fit my SUV with the snow boards on the back.
The house was great! The view from the living room window is beautiful! The house was very clean and the beds were good. The kitchen was very well stocked! Parking was right in front of the house. We did not have a reason to contact the host. The property was just perfect for our family get-together. The directions were good, would have been helpful to know about the red snow shovel!! We loved the sauna and the family room! I would highly recommend this house!
Great property. Very clean and spacious. The view of the portage was so beautiful. If we are ever in the area, we would definitely book this place again.

Thank you Erika, we are glad you enjoyed your stay!
Perfect location for our jaunt around the UP. The house was bigger than expected and served our needs well. An issue upon checkin was addressed quickly and we would recommend this home.
Nice, clean, big house with a great view!Visited to snowmobile the UP. Plenty of room for 2 trucks and trailers, not close enough to sled to trail from the property, but wasn't a far drive at all! Definitely a stay at again property!
We truly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for celebrating my daughter's MTU graduation. We had only 2 issues - the carpet in the living room was curled up so it was a significant tripping hazard. We also had a difficult time accessing the house key in the key box.
This house is amazing. There are not too many rentals in the area not to mention homes that are also dog friendly and boy did we hit the jackpot on this one. It literally felt like home. The house is so comfortable yet so well kept and beautifully decorated. It is clean, spacious and comfortable. It had everything you could want from plenty of fluffy bath towels to comfy bedding and my FIL who was a painter kept commenting on the beautiful paint job throughout lol. It also had a spacious yard for our puuppers and was super close to a dog friendly beach. Amanda, the owner, was so kind and responsive. If you are in the Houghton/Hancock area and need a home away from home do not hesitate to book this place!
