We enjoyed our stay. The view is not a full ocean view, but it overlooks the grounds and the pool entrance which gives you a feeling of belonging to the community. We really did love sitting on the veranda. We were there for hurricane Lala and the condo maintenance was on top of clean-up. Communication with the condo unit management company was efficient.

Unit was clean and well equipped. Lots of kitchen items we used along with the washer and drier. We saw whales and loved the hot tub and pool. It was extremely rainy so we weren’t in the ocean but still loved our time together.

Great location

Wonderful stay!! The location was perfect. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We loved using the pool in the evening and the pickle ball court!! Highly recommend this property to rent!

Kitchen had everything we needed. We did not stop at the store first and I’m glad we didn’t! Some of the things we would have bought were already there like paper towels, hand soap, dish soap. We left coffee filters and tide pods for the next family as well. The view is very peaceful and exactly what the picture show. We enjoyed our time here in Kauai and this location was perfect to exploring the entire island! Mahalo!

Great location

Loved our time at Makahuena. The property has beautiful views and is a short walk or drive to many swimmable beaches. Appreciated having chairs, snorkel equipment, etc available for use. Would stay here again!
