Luxurious Log Cabin on a River
This charming 1940's log cabin has been completely updated with high-end amenities, creating the perfect balance of rustic luxury. Located on 5 acres, the cabin backs up to a beautiful mountain wall and river running right off the back deck. Just 10 minutes to the plaza, you’ll be close enough to enjoy the action of town, but far enough way to escape people and immerse yourself in nature.
We are new to VRBO, but we are seasoned SuperHosts on Airbnb. This property has 85 reviews and a 4.97 rating (out of 5).
The space
We renovated this charming cabin with state-of-the art finishes, including a rain shower and Miele appliances. There is an upstairs master bedroom with King bed and en-suite bathroom, and another downstairs bedroom with a king bed and shared bath room. Please note: the third “bedroom” is a queen bed that doubles as a dreamy daybed, on the far end of the cabin. It has a barn door that creates some privacy, but it’s important to note that this is not an enclosed room.

Four wheel drive vehicles during January, February and March may make mobility better. Roads are cleared but a minimum of front wheel drive is recommended. This is a log cabin in the Carson Forrest and 10 minutes from down town. It’s a very unique property that requires patience and the love of nature and the outdoors.

We are a psychologist and executive coach husband and wife duo, with a passion for travel, real estate, and design. We love finding special properties in locations we would like to live part-time, then renovate and transform those properties into spectacular homes. It's far enough from town to escape people and be surrounded by nature, and yet only 10 minutes to the plaza.
What makes this property unique
The property is bordered by a beautiful mountain wall and river running right off the back deck, which elk come drink from almost every night! The stars from the hot tub at night are incredible. The cabin is so cozy, and yet updated with high end design and amenities making it the perfect balance of rustic luxury.
