We stayed at this property twice the summer of 2026. Both times we enjoyed the variety of spaces from the fire circle, low and upper desks and in the evening the family tv area. We visited Bethel Woods for 3 Pavillion events and really appreciated how the property was 20 minutes away. The house is well situated for boating; we brought 2 paddle boards from home and used the onsite kayaks to explore the lake. Beautiful birds, lots of fish and overall the house work out really well for our family. Thank you for a lovely stay!
This property is very comfortable, on a lake, with access to swimming, kayaking and the host is easy to communicate with. Lots to do in terms of hiking, visiting different hamlets, the Bethel woods "Woodstock museum," places t to eat.
The house has a grill but guests have to provide the propane tank. Because we only stayed a few days, it wouldn't be possible to buy our own propane tank, so it was a loss not to be able to grill outside. It would be lovely if there was an opportunity for short term guests to have access to the propane tank as part of the cost of the rental. Thanks for a lovely time.

Thank you for your review and for choosing our property for your stay. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the lake, hiking, and all the nearby attractions. I apologize for any confusion regarding the grill. To clarify, the Weber grill is connected directly to the home’s propane supply, so there’s no need for guests to provide their own propane. I appreciate your feedback and will make sure this detail is more clearly communicated to future guests.
