our breezy hideaway

the property was exactly as pictured in your catalog....we loved the breezes that continually cooled us off.....and the sound of the ocean just outside was so calming. We loved the privacy of the unit, parking was ideal for handicapped, and a week w/o towel or bedding service worked out very well. Well stocked kitchen, we would love to return.

Hard to say if it is neglect on the part of the owner or poor management by Garden Island Property Management Location was great, but unit was not clean and very dated.Unit wasn't cleaned when we arrived very late on our scheduled check in day - it was forgotten about by the property management agency. They did try to come first thing the next morning after we contacted them to clean it and gave us a small refund as well as complimentary mid week clean - which I would highly recommend NEVER paying for - all it is is them dropping off clean towels they never did replace the dirty sponge that was left from the previous occupants that we were supposed to use to wash dishes - who knows how old that was We could not use our lanai due to the amount of chicken poo on it and it was not cleaned up until we complained about that mess we stayed at this unit for 10 days and it would have never been cleaned if we had not said anything. The owners need to take some interest in this property - it is so dirty the hide away bed has not been cleaned under in I don't know how long there is so much filth in between the cushions I wouldn't want to sleep on it. The electrical plug in the bedroom is dangerous - it shocked me when I tried to plug a cord in and there are spider webs and fly poop all over the walls. The unit needs some TLC and upgrades - NOT WORTH THE MONEY

This was an isolated housekpeeing oversight, and as soon as we were notified, our team responded, provided a refund of the cleaning fee, cleaned the unit and offered a complimentary mid-stay service to ensure your comfort. Since your stay, we have implemented additional quality control measures and made changes to our housekeeping team to prevent this type of situation from happening again. Cleanliness and guest satisfaction are extremely important to us, and concerns are always addressed promptly when brought to our attention. Regarding the property itself, Kaha Lani Resort is an island-style condominium complex known for its beautiful oceanfront setting, and tropical grounds between Lihue and Kapaa Town. The unit reflects that classic island character rather than a newly renovated or modern design, as shown in the listing photos. We strive to represent the decor and condition accurately so guests can choose accommodations that best fit their preferences. Free-roaming chickens are part of everyday island life on Kauai, particularly in garden-style properties. We responded immediately to the concerns reported and would have promptly addressed any additional items had we been notified during your stay. We appreciate the opportunity to host you and take all feedback seriously as we continually work to improve the guest experience.

Gorgeous spot!

This spot has the most incredible views, convenient location to beach, beautiful walking paths, and nearby shops and restaurants. It’s quiet, clean, and has every amenity you need including easy laundry in a nearby building within the complex. Highly recommend and plan to return.

Anniversary trip

Accommodations were as portrayed. Had all the things you need, no grocery shopping to fill gaps. Even had a pair of scissors. Had beach accessories and a cooler. Condo grounds were plush with tropical flora. View was outstanding.

Idyllic Hawaii Setting

The condo was a bit small but the view made it definitely worth while. Bathroom fan came on with the light which was annoying but all in all it was worth the price paid.

Beautiful, Convenient location

Kaha Lani is beautiful, quiet and centrally located to everything on the island. This is our second time staying, and we love the amenities such as beach, pool and onsite laundry. Views from this oceanfront condo cannot be beat! You will enjoy coffee every morning on the lanai. However, be prepared to sweat all week, as the fans provided are inadequate for ventilation and airflow, especially in the bedroom. Overall a lovely stay and we cannot wait to return to heavenly Kauai!

Waves, Wind, Wonder

The breeze coming off the water, picturesque views, relaxing and safe area are among many reasons to choose this VRBO. Central location makes it perfect to get to many areas of interest on the island. Bed and liens are comfortable. Kitchen is perfect for cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner. Back side of condo opens with sweeping views of the ocean. The waves crash peacefully over the sand. If the clouds allow, you can see sunrise from your own back patio. Breathtakingly Beautiful!!!
