Sitting directly on the Cartecay River, you can step right into the water at your leisure, or, lose yourself in the relaxation of the hot tub overlooking an amass of private greenspace where you might catch a glimpse of some wildlife. Enjoy the CUSTOM STEAM SHOWER featuring 3 rain shower heads to rid you of your worries! Seriously - people book this cabin for THIS VERY SHOWER (not to mention that you can literally walk right into the river). Fiber internet keeps everyone connected so you can enjoy your stay with peace of mind.
Main Floor: Queen bedroom, luxurious spa-like bathroom featuring the custom steam shower, washer and dryer. Enjoy the spacious living area with fireplace, dining area, fully stocked kitchen with bar area.
Upstairs: Queen bed, full bath with standalone shower, loft area with desk and futon.
Outside: (THIS IS WHY YOU'RE HERE) - Riverfront. I cannot stress that enough - with so many properties in the area boasting river frontage, this is truly a walkable flat area that people of all ages can enjoy. No long sets of stairs to get down to the river, no 4WD driveway on top of a mountain - Put your chair in the water and enjoy it! This cabin boasts privacy even though there is a neighboring cabin. There is a long private driveway to the cabin. Two decks allow you to enjoy the outdoors - one is covered for protection from the weather. The uncovered deck features a hot tub and comfortable outdoor furniture. Both decks look toward the river. Step off the porch and enjoy the riverside firepit with seating.

We are the Youngs. We moved to Ellijay in 2017 beginning our empty nest journey on the Tickanetley creek. We have a cabin in the FinnCannon area on the Cartecay River that we have begun renting out to guests. We are not a big time management company. We live locally and provide our guests with the service they would expect having a local host.
