We had a lovely stay here. The rental had everything we needed and more. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. The location was great. I'm a quiet neighborhood close to downtown. We will definitely be back!
I stayed at James and Peggy's place for 8 days in July 2025. The place is exactly as described; very clean and well equipped; it has everything one would need for a short or long term stay. The beds are very comfortable and there is a good temperature regulation system. The area is very safe and the house is close to the airport, hospital, and downtown Charlottetown. There is a small convenience store a few steps from the house. This was my first time in PEI and I am so glad I chose to stay at PJ's. Peggy and James were so helpful and very responsive throughout the stay. I highly recommend their place!!

Saima and her parents are such a pleasure to host. They are a quiet, friendly, and easy going family.
I would love to have Saima and her family stay at PJ's anytime she decides to visit Prince Edward Island.
Thank you Saima for your visit and for leaving the apartment in immaculate condition.
Sincerely
Peggy and Jim
We felt at home the minute we pulled in. We were unexpectedly greeted by owner who was more than happy to show us all we needed through our stay. They were discreet and answered any of our questions immediately. We were there when Hurricane Lee came through and they offered us clothing to weather the storm and to stay as long as we needed to be safe. It was comfortable from start to visit and if ever in Prince Edward Island we would stay here without any hesitation.

Not a VRBO!
The unit was clean and well appointed. It should not have been listed as a VRBO as the owner was living in the house on the main floor. VRBO advertises that it is a vacation rental where the owner is not present, well that is not true for this listing. Also, the listing didn't make it clear that it is a basement unit where every footstep and often conversations from the owner above can be heard. We were woken up each morning at around 5:30am by these noises from the main floor. We would not stay here again!

The City of Charlottetown, along with various cities across Canada, require the owner to live in the same structure that is being rented: otherwise it has to be a long term rental,
I'm sorry to say I can't do anything about that.
The unit is sound-proofed and if you could hear anything from other parts of the building then I would love to have your hearing ability!
I realize it didn't work out with your partner but I can't be held responsible for that.
Hopefully your next vacation will suit your expectations and you have a wonderful memory of PEI.
All the best on your future vacations,

Basement with little light and steep stairs.
A well equipped place to stay but that is it’s only upside…. Nowhere on listing did it mention steep stairs down into a basement. The apartment only had 3 small windows with no outlook due to being sub ground level. Worries if there had been a fire as only one escape route. All clothes hanging in wardrobe got damp. The sheets were not cotton and felt clammy and sticky once asleep. No evidence of host at any time and we stayed 3 nights. Would not return. Overpriced for what it is.

Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your stay. There are actually four escape routes.
The three windows are egress windows with step for each escape route.
There’s a new heat pump with every setting available that you choose not to use in this heat.
The listing let you know that there is stairs.
I asked you to let me know if there was any concerns or problems and I didn’t hear from you.
There were extra sheets in the closet but you wouldn’t have needed them if you had Left the heat pump/Air conditioner turned on.
Regardless, I hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation.
