This cottage is located in a great spot: #1. It's very close to a user-friendly beach access ( a short 2 block walk) , #2. its located between the by-pass and the beach road which provides a quiet safe street for kids and walking animals, small talk with neighbors, and biking or walking. #3. Located on highest land elevation in Kill Devil Hills near Wright Brothers Memorial, #4. it's across the street from Publix grocery store, the best putt-putt golf on the outer banks, and a new town splash pad park for kids a short distance away! #5. The renowned Goombay's Restaurant is a short 7-minute walk from front door to front door!! #6. This cottage also provides a manicured irrigated sodded yard (unlike many briary yards on the outer banks) for cornhole, throwing frisbee, or just plain barefoot walking in the grass! H2OBX Waterpark is 13.5 miles away (Oh what fun!!)
This home is newly renovated and is professionally decorated by a well-known local interior decorator. The home is equipped with all new appliances, including a warming oven, convection oven, dishwasher, top of line refrigerator and stove! The kitchen has nice dishes, and cookware along with small appliances like crock pot, blender, toaster, and a coffee maker.
The Black-out shades and sound machines aid in late morning peaceful sleep.
The top floor has newly installed large windows that provide a panoramic view!
This home is awesome, and the location is simply perfect!!

Beautiful House

The house was beautiful and very clean!! The upper level was perfect for our family and super spacious. This is our 4th year to OBX and this place was by far the best! Owner was super responsive and had welcome snacks when we arrived. Highly recommend!

Family Beach 2024

The house was perfect for us. Close enough to the beach so we could come and go during the days. Beach chairs, towels & wagon made setting up our beach spot easy. The cornhole game was an unexpected bonus. Beautiful home with large great room, the bedrooms are well set up for maximum comfort. The owners thought of everything! We had a fantastic beach week!

Great place for a vacation

The house was beautiful and everything was recently renovated. Five stars all the way. We thought about 4 stars for "Accuracy of the listing" but that is only because there is much more included than we expected. The kitchen is pretty much fully equipped including numerous small appliances that were not listed and there were four bikes and 6 beach chairs included, which would have been nice to know. Overall, its a great place with lots of extras beyond what the listing promised.

Best place for a relaxing beach vacation

5 stars except for accuracy of the listing which I know will be updated. So happy we took a chance on this place because it was more beautiful than we could have asked for. Newly renovated with such attention to detail with all the amenities included. The beach is two blocks away (can’t beat it!) and they provided beach towels, chairs and a wagon. I had my 15 month old with me and they had setup a high chair and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances. Multiple spaces to accommodate a large group and still be able to take a little time to yourself. Location was amazing and literally across the street from major retailers and restaurants making for easy access. The hosts were very responsive and made us feel at home. We will definitely stay here again soon! We can’t recommend this place enough.

We love this location! The friendly neighbors, the early morning coffee on the porches as visitors walk by, bike rides, the short walk to the beach, the convenience to the best grocery store and great restaurants are added bonuses!!

What makes this property unique

I love a yard with grass that i can walk or play in. I love a beautifully decorated clean home. I love the quietness of a side street location. I love the short walk to the beach, especially in the morning or late afternoon, with my dog..........This home provides all this!!
