Short walk to downtown Marquette, Lower Harbor, 3rd Street shops, Marine Museum and beach. Short drive to hiking trails. Comfortable remodeled apartment with nice amenities to make it feel like a home away from home. We would stay there again.
This upstairs apartment is wonderful! The location was perfect, we could easily walk to the downtown Farmer's market, restaurants, shops, and the harbor. The neighborhood was very nice, and we slept well in the beautiful, clean, cozy and comfortable space. We will be back, thanks Josh!
The property was great location top of the town.
The owner was super accommodating.
Be prepared for climbing up and down stairs to access the space. Parking was good in backyard they have an electric grill and was able to use it with some other friends. Laundry is in the basement shared with the owner. Overall space clean new and relaxing.
The Historic East Side Sanctuary was an excellent choice for our Marquette visit. The property appears recently renovated and tastefully designed with quality furnishings, appliances, etc. The unit was very well stocked with ample kitchen utensils, towels and linens, as well as quality paper products and household goods. The apartment has an ideal location within walking distance to the lake/beach, downtown, and much of Marquette’s best food and drink.
Having laundry facilities available was also a big plus. The hosts were wonderful to work with and very responsive. Overall, it was a clean and quiet, comfortable place to be. We had a perfect stay in Marquette at the Historic East Side Sanctuary. Thank you!
