Beautiful house with an amazing view!! Clean and accurate description. There was an issue with the upstairs shower that we had been informed of before check in. But there were several other showers that could be used instead. Slight inconvenience. The only suggestion I could offer is a couple more seating options in the living room would have been good. The house sleeps 11, but there isn’t enough seating for that many. We had terrible weather on Saturday and we were concerned about the road conditions and alarms that were sounded from the lake. But the owner was very responsive in our questions and concerns. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay even with the terrible weather.

Rest and relaxation and resort access a plus

Private cabin in resort but didn’t feel like you were in a resort. We barely left the resort! Beautiful view, pool and beach access, restaurants on site resort. Full kitchen ware, towels sheets blankets were all available. Thank you for being great hosts to a lovely home.

Beautiful Mountain Escape

We had a lovely time at this property. The house is stunning with beautiful lake and mountain views. It has a great space with the open kitchen/living room and the downstairs game room. Access the the amenities at Rumbling Bald was wonderful for some family friendly fun with access to the pools, lake and boating. Would highly recommend for those looking for a low key mountain escape.

Five stars for this beautiful and cozy cabin which is just as described. Plenty of space for 7 adults with comfy common areas to socialize and 4 nice bedrooms & bathrooms for privacy. Kitchen was clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery from the hot tub and the fire table on the back porch after a long hiking day. The game room was a big hit with darts, old school video game, board games and dvds available. The cabin is within a neighborhood with paved roads and easy to reach but still feels very private and secluded. Excellent communication from Chris throughout. The Lake Lure area is still under rehab from storm damage but Chimney Rock state park and many surrounding businesses and hiking trails were open. Highly recommend this cabin!
