At Sleepy Hollow Cottage you will enjoy the beautiful water and fantastic view of Smith Lake at our 3 bedroom 2 bath brick house.
Relax in the sunroom or on the spacious deck as you view beautiful Smith Lake. Or, take the easy, short walk on gently sloping lot to the double slip boat house with large swim/sun deck -great place for the children to swim and adults to sit and/or soak up the sun or fish. Only a little over one mile by water from Duncan Bridge. Located in a quiet slough just a short distance from the main body with deep water. Slough is popular with fishermen.
Two bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has bunk beds. There is a sofa bed in the sunroom and convertable futon bed in the living room with plenty of room for additional blow up beds if desired.
Large kitchen/dining room combination has large table that easily seats 10 and another table in sunroom with seating for 4. Fully equipped kitchen for preparing those special vacation meals for your family.
Lengthy paved driveway offers plenty of level area for parking for cars and boat trailors and with covered parking for 2 vehicles.

We had a great stay here — the house fit 7-8 people comfortably. We chose this house because of the dining space for Thanksgiving and the amount of seating in the living room and it was great! The beds were all comfortable, however, we did not sleep on the pull out couches because the mattresses were thin, but we did sleep just on couches and they were very comfortable. Everything was clean and they had most of the kitchen items we needed. We did run low of toilet paper, so just know there are only 4 rolls provided and plan accordingly. The lake access was easy to get to (if you can handle steps) and the front yard/driveway had plenty of room to play safely away from the water. The host was also very responsive to messages and checkout instructions were very clear. Overall we had a good stay and we’ve talked about coming back in the future!

Brothers getaway

My brothers and I get together each year for some fishing and hanging out time. This was a great property for us! Definitely an upgrade from our previous tent camping trips. Property was as advertised. Plenty of room for everyone and a great location on the water. We enjoyed having the docks just out back for our boats. We all would come back again!

We love giving our guests an affordable, clean and beautiful location for enjoying the lake! We pride ourselves with being responsive to our guests needs. We think we are the best value on the lake along with a super convenient location to stores and 15 minutes from Jasper.

Why they chose this property

We love beautiful Smith Lake. I grew up here and my wife and our family have enjoyed spending time on the lake and have vacationed here for many years. Also, our house is only 10 miles from Jasper and only 2 1/2 miles from the Curry community where we have grocery stores, pharmacy, hardware store, and many restaurants. Our house is easy to get to from every direction. It is in a fantastic spot on Smith Lake.

What makes this property unique

While at the cottage, you will enjoy a gorgeous view of Smith Lake. From the front door of the house, you can walk to the water with no steps on a gently sloping lot where kids can easily play.
It is located just off the main body one mile from Duncan Bridge by water. You can enjoy boating,fishing, swimming, or just basking in the sun with the convenience of a double boat slip with a large swim/sun deck. Grill out and have a picnic on the large deck by the water and as the sun goes down, enjoy a fire lakeside in the firepit or enjoy one of those beautiful Smith Lake sunsets! Duncan Bridge Marina (pontoon rentals), shopping and restaurants are within 2-3 miles. For price, convenience, and comfort in a quiet, relaxed setting, we believe our cottage CAN'T BE BEAT!
