Enjoy early morning fishing in year round deep water, swimming off our newer one slip boat dock with attached swim pier, then head over to Trident for dinner and live music; round out your day with a superb sunset view in the evening! This 3BR/2BA home sits on a 2.8 acre lot with a 2 car covered carport and ample parking. The fully remodeled kitchen with marble counter tops gives a modern touch, and the large living space makes it easy for gathering or entertaining. All with a lake view. The big back deck over looks a beautiful view of the water and a wooded undeveloped forrest. Only 25 minutes from I-65 and 1 hour from Birmingham/Huntsville. THE PERFECT GETAWAY!

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Take trash to the garbage bins on the road. $50 fee will be added for failure to remove trash.
Make sure the trash is picked up outside and that the grill has been cleaned and grease bucket dumped. $100 fee will be added for failure to do so.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The house was just as listed. The kitchen has recently been updated and is very nice. Plenty of room for our group. The stairs down to the dock are a bit daunting but we had teenagers and young kids with us so it was very manageable for them. They loved using the kayaks, swimming and fishing. Tara and Brandon you have a beautiful place!!

Fun weekend on the lake

The house is cute , clean and nice quiet location. Check in was easy Had everything we needed for the weekend .Nice dock on the water for a boat , swimming, fishing and ect . We enjoyed our stay and would book again .If you have elderly it does have over 100 steps to the water .

The property was beautiful and upgrades were very nice. Loved the open living room, gorgeous kitchen and view. The 1.5 ft step up in the shower upstairs was daunting and the steps up for both showers made it difficult for older parents and children. The stairs being step, short, and different heights is also interesting.Having mixing bowls would add a nice touch. It was thoughtful to provide extra towels. We appreciated quick communication and excellent service.

Beautiful cabin like home with some fun decorations, every amenity was provided for, including multiple beach towels, every kitchen utensil you can imagine, sundries, amazing kitchen. Tv’s abound, the views are amazing. Quiet location on the lake. The boat area was very nice, would have loved to fish but was here for a death in the family and needed a fast place to stay. The host was quick to respond and very accommodating to my waffling about extending to stay near family and then rescinding to go home to Virginia to take my son to college. The whole thing was so unexpectedly pleasant during a horrible time. P.S. My mother ( who lives nearby in Crane Hill) was so impressed when she saw it she is going to have her out of town relatives book this when they come visit. She is very much a southern belle and picky so that is a huge endorsement. ( in my humble opinion) Cannot thank the hosts again for being so patient and helpful with me. Will be back soon!

Overall we enjoyed our stay and the owners were very quick to respond and super nice but there are a few important things to note:1.The main floor bedroom (master) has no air flow/vents. The room gets extremely hot if the door is closed and the matteress is extra firm.2. The stairs inside leading to the upstair rooms are very dangerous. They vary in size and height. Owner should consider putting yellow tape on the edges.3. The grill does not work. The propane was full but only one burner ignites and very low at that. Was unable to cook on it.4. All family members had a hard time finding the hidden driveway including us. The place doesn't map well.5. There are over 100 stairs leading to the dock, if you are not young/in shape, you will have a very hard time going back and forth.6. The deck railing is not up to code. Very dangerous for little ones and pets.
