About the host
Hosted by Vicky Bliss
We moved to Buckden in order to live in these beautiful surroundings and set up 3 holiday lets on the ground floor of our property. We fully refurbished the building and now enjoy welcoming our guests to this unspoilt area of the world.
Why they chose this property
It's outstanding beauty.
What makes this property unique
The Wharfe is perfectly situated in the heart of the village with a wonderful pub, The Buck Inn, opposite and The George Inn at Hubberholme a 20 minute walk along The River Wharfe. There are numerous circular walks from the doorstep. There is the option to catch the community bus, The Venturer, which runs to Grassington several times a day apart from Sunday. The surrounding countryside is truly stunning and every season is special. All Creatures Great and Small regularly film in the area, particularly the church at Hubberholme where Helen and James got married!
