The space Welcome to our cottage! Located an hour from Green Bay, it's the perfect home base for wherever your Door County adventures take you. Relax and enjoy over 2,000 sq. ft. of indoor space and over 1.6 acres of landscaped and wooded space outside.
The great room features a beautiful floor-to-ceiling wood burning fireplace, cozy seating area flooded with natural light, a wall of windows overlooking the woods, and reclaimed hardwood floors. Sip some coffee, curl up with a book from our library, watch your favorite tv shows on the Roku TV, and relax to the sounds of the great outdoors—or fill the room with streamed music on four wall-mounted Bose speakers.
The space includes a dining area and well-equipped kitchen with an island and two bar stools. Step outside and enjoy the spacious deck with a patio table, chairs, and Weber Baby Q gas grill. A comfortable master bedroom with a king memory foam mattress and en suite full bathroom with tub and shower completes the main floor.
The lower level offers a variety of entertainment options—from board games at the pub table, to books for kids and adults, to movies on a 65” smart TV with Klipsch surround sound. Use the Roku remote to access your YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming apps or choose from a wide selection of DVD/BluRay movies.
Built into the limestone of the Niagara Escarpment, the lower level of the cottage is wonderfully cool on hot summer days. When you need to warm up, the family room and all three bedrooms come equipped with infrared wall heaters, comforters and blankets. Sleeping accommodations include a second king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a bedroom with two twin XL beds, all with memory foam mattresses. A second full bathroom with walk-in shower and a laundry room with washer and dryer are also found in the lower level.
Venture outside to scout birds and other wildlife, hunt for wild raspberries, blackberries and gooseberries, enjoy a fire in the fire pit, or stargaze from the deck.

Guest access Guests have the whole cottage to themselves. The only restricted areas are a locked storage closet under the stairs in the lower level and the garage (no parking).
Other things to note * Parents of young children should be aware that three of the four bedrooms are located in the lower level of the home. There is no door or baby gates at either end of the hardwood staircase (15 steps).
