Dog poop everywhere!
Multiple barking dogs left all day and night under your windows, untrained dogs nipping at you when you try to enter the unit. An unwanted game of keep the dogs in the fence happened every time I wanted to enter and exit the unit. Always lots of dog poop in the walkway and driveway. Property is so smelly and always a minefield of poop! This place had no hot tub yet it advertises there is one. The shared pool is constantly filled with bamboo leaves and frog eggs. The bamboo is super unkept and overgrown (listing photo is old). The first three weeks we had no internet, we were told to piggy back off the main house, we had to go outside on the porch (with broken floor boards and no chairs) to check email and do any work. Engaged in repeated contact with the many phone numbers given by the owner of "assistants" asking for internet and in unit repair help, finally after 3 weeks of repeatedly asking, she got an in unit internet extension box. No freezer, only a mini fridge that cant keep stuff cold so we purchased our own fridge to use while there. We also had to purchase a broom, plunger for the old broken toilet, cleaning supplies, and towels. This unit was missing basic items a vacation rental home would have. The shower had a broken fan and no light, so dark in there, the owner never fixed it, just removed the cover and bulb and left the electrical wires exposed for the entire stay. Location was the only positive part of the stay so gave it two stars.
