We loved the home and found it to be spacious to accommodate our large family. Loved the hot tub, and appreciated how well equipped the house was for us.
Wonderful stay plenty of room property owners made sure to keep in touch to make sure our stay was great! Road up here to cabin is alittle tight but otherwise a great place to stay.
We visited Rustic Mountain for a family getaway so we could be close to Lake Junaluska. It was definitely off the beaten path which only adds to its charm. It was a perfect weekend and the house is gorgeous and well-maintained! Everything we could possibly need was provided. The only issue we had was parking, which was minor. The driveway can only accommodate 2 vehicles so we often played musical cars. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. The hosts were wonderful and communication couldn't be better. I definitely recommend staying at this property for a relaxing getaway.
The house is very spacious, lots of room for the 9 of us. It was very clean! Kitchen is fully stocked with lots of dishes, silverware, cups, glasses, pots and pans. They have spices for cooking which was awesome. Lots of towels for bathing and the hot tub. Three different bathrooms, good size bedrooms (I would recommend putting a mirror or two in the downstairs bedrooms) Everything worked as it should and the hosts were super helpful! We would definitely stay here again!
Be prepared for a rugged drive the last mile to the Rustic Mountain Retreat! It is a steep, winding, and one-lane dirt road. I would recommend that you arrive during daylight hours so you can see the road/terrain. But it is worth it!!! We had a fabulous time! I had family drive in from Florida, Maryland, and Massachusetts to join those of us who live in SE NC for a holiday family weekend. I would definitely consider staying with this host again!
