About the host

We are from Medina, Ohio and Tampa ,Florida and we came to Maggie Valley for family reunions and to get away from the heat in the summer. We chose Sleepy Bear because it rarely gets above 80 degrees in the summer here and we feel incredibly relaxed in a comfortable 'bearsy, woodsy , moosey ' setting. We love to share our home with others because we know they will have an unforgettable experience.

Why they chose this property

Gated secure, secluded community in a heavily wooded area

What makes this property unique

One of the best views on the mountain towards Smoky Mountain National Park. Near top of mountain for convenient access to both quaint Waynesville (down south side of mountain) and countryish Maggie Valley (down north side) . Gently sloped homesite provides safety for kids, pets. close to Laurel Ridge and Maggie Valley Country Clubs (5 min).
