About this property

Peaceful Suite on the Water "Osprey." Sunrise over the river from your porch.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. One bedroom and living room, private suite and beautiful views of the Patuxent river. Secluded property, a private suite waits for you and your family. Spacious room for up to six people, with one queen bed, bunk bed and sleeper sofa. Nice living room with dining table, where you can relax after a long day on the beach. There is a large gas grill on your porch to cook up your catch of the day or grab some crabs from one of our local crabbers or Ray's. Property has 500+ feet of private beach and a 400 ft pier to fish, crab, or just have a good time. Beautiful sandbar aka "Walter's Walk" to enjoy the sunset and watch the birds fish.
What I love most about this property is how relaxing and quiet it is. The only thing I hear is birds and wave lapping on the shore. I like that even though I am a peaceful place I can still drive just 15 minutes to restaurants, movie theater, and shopping...if I ever want to leave.

Beautiful location, rather rough terrain facing the Patuxent River, very strong air conditioning, satisfactory amenities overall. Nothing in the refrigerator, but nothing was promised. Sophia helped us to be able to check in a little earlier if necessary, but I wanted the details of entering, via the lock combination, into the house earlier than she was prepared to offer them, which was essentially within the day of when we arrived. If you ask her specific questions that you will have about the stay at the property, you will get helpful but minimal, concrete responses.

We had a girls massage day planned the accommodations were fine. The water was relaxing with the breeze. We sat on the porch and hung out while we each got our massage. Some of our family showed up just to hang out with us. It was a nice break.

yes and no , the grill was dirty , i needed to clean before i grill, the fire pit was not cleaned, the outside steps had no railings, the view was great, the house was clean and the host was very responsive, it does need a full kitchen,going back in forth to the bathroom for water is tiresome, but over all it was a good experience.

I almost don't want to share this little piece of heaven! And that's what it is. It's so peaceful, and sitting outside and having your morning coffee is a balm to the soul. Great comfy bed, and good set up. We were super comfortable. The owners are lovely, great communication, check in was easy and the location is wonderful. Just RENT IT. You will be so glad you did.

This place is an absolute gem of peace and tranquility. The view is worth paying for alone, and I loved taking walks around the absolutely beautiful property, and was so sad I never had time to kayak or just sit on the beach. (Next time!) The bed is super comfortable, it's the perfect place for a couple, group of friends, or people with kids. The kitchen is very limited, unless you want to grill, but we were fine with it, and made it work. The living room is comfortable but you won't spend time in it as you will want to sit outside on the porch!
