The farmhouse is stunning and it’s in a great location! The only thing I would comment on would be the bed, it is pretty small and uncomfortable, but doable for a quick weekend getaway.
This stay was a real treat. This house was saved from destruction by the owners with photo books sharing the renewal process. The morning spent just reading on the upstairs porch and the host walking across the street from their home to just check in. It you are in the area don’t miss this treat.
A very picturesque location. The owners did a spectacular job renovating the property to make it welcoming to guests. It was a great mix of rustic charm and modern amenities. The hosts are very friendly and very responsive and want to ensure you have a pleasant stay. They also provided history of the house and a recap of all the work they put in to bring it back to life. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for something in the area. Or even just outside the area as you're not too far from neighboring towns. The only thing I could find fault is you will encounter some bugs. But as it is the start of summer in North Georgia in a 125 year old house, that's to be expected. Other than that, we had a lovely time and hope we get a chance to return again. Sitting on the second story porch and watching the sunset is worth the stay.
