Excellent stay at Fredrick’s cozy and spotlessly clean property. Spacious, very comfy, all the kitchen amenities, and quick 30 minute drive to the State Parks and hiking trails, and quaint, lovely Wellsboro. Property is about a 15 minute drive on a gravel road, back into the mountains- very secluded. We loved this location!Fredrick was a very kind and very responsive communicator- a perfect stay!

Just what we needed !! Off the beaten path , peace and serenity. The home was so cozy , clean and very well stocked on what we needed . Woke up Saturday mornimg and we got to enjoy a beautiful snowfall. We thought we where seeing things at first . The trees where absolutely gourgous as well . We loved our stay very much !! .

Beautiful, well-kept home. It's off the beaten path and the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The host truly thought of everything. Definitely more a 5 star resort than a cabin. Cool trail 3 miles from the home.

Don't hesitate this is the cleanest well stock vacation home we have rented. The house is very clean, the linens smell fresh. The kitchen is fully stocked and more than enough fluffy towels. It is very relaxing place. We will be going back again

The property was immaculate. The location was perfect, remote, peaceful and exactly the kind of place to stay to enjoy the beauty of the mountains of north central Pennsylvania. The deck was perfect for morning coffee and sunrises. The fire ring is great for evening sunsets! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all you needed for meal preparation.

I grew up coming to the Potter County/Tioga County area, so we planned a family vacation to show our kids the area and explore "God's Country"."Very Merry Acres" served as an excellent basecamp for our daily explorations. The property was exceptionally clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of towels, toilet paper, pots/pans, etc. The beds were comfy.The property is about 15 minutes of dirt road, so traveling in the winter would likely require AWD/4WD. It was about a 30-40 minute drive to the PA Grand Canyon, 45 minutes to Cherry Springs, and Lyman Run. There is a grocery store about 25 minutes away in Galeton to stock up the fridge.My only suggestion/request of the host is to install some dimmer switches in the kitchen and living room. The lights are very bright, and we would have liked to have been able to dim them down a little.Overall, everything was great, and I highly recommend staying here if you're looking to explore the PA Wilds!

This is an amazing location and a wonderful home. There is a trail right on the property and a ton in the surrounding areas. Some wildlife visits made are stay extra special. We had beautiful song birds in the morning and deer in the evening. We recommend it to everyone who wants to unplug kick back and enjoy mother nature and yes you still have excellent Wi-Fi service.Fred was very communicative and made sure our stay was great. The house is very clean and check in was a breeze. Want to go back as soon as we can.

Beautiful secluded property with all the basic amenities you would need and very clean. Loved that is was tucked away from everything and the fur babies loved it too. Enjoyed the dirt road drive to the house. The host were very thoughtful and had a card and bottle of wine on the table for our Anniversary. Highly recommend and will be staying again in the future.

If you are looking for peace and solitude in a comfortable and clean setting, Very Mary Acres is the place! The long dirt road drive to get there is well worth it. The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of clean towels and helpful instructions from the host. The mornings are lovely with the sun rising through the trees. We had a nice dinner at the cozy Log Cabin Inn, just 20 minutes from the house (reservations required). Had a wonderful, family weekend! Thank you!

This is the second time that we have stayed at this place. We love it here. Really enjoyed the outdoor table and chairs on the deck!! Will definitely be back. They were nice enough to leave a bottle of wine for our anniversary. Fred was extremely responsive and was so easy to get into the house.

Overall, the house is very nice, clean and well stocked with everything we needed when we weren't out hiking the Grand Canyon trails. Better stocked than most VRBO's we've stayed at in the past.The only issue we had was the dirt roads in and out were a little rougher than I expected. If we were to stay here again, I would probably plan on bringing more food with us to minimize the trips in and out.

Most guests choose my secluded cabin—nestled on over 10 acres of wilderness—for its peaceful escape from town and crowds. Naturally, properties like this aren’t located near major roads or urban areas. If the cabin were on a busy road, you'd experience constant traffic and large trucks speeding by day and night. Instead, my cabin is accessed via a quiet, township-maintained road that leads to a well-kept private lane. On most days, only a few cars pass through slowly, preserving the tranquility that many guests seek. The exact address is provided immediately upon booking, allowing guests to map the location and decide if it suits their preferences. If someone prefers a more urban setting or proximity to major roads, I completely understand and there are many hotels in Wellsboro.

Peaceful and secluded getaway

Wonderful stay for a peaceful and secluded getaway. Everything was neat and clean with little extras that made the visit very nice. Be prepared for unpaved roads and a dirty car after driving, but worth it!
