We had a fantastic stay. The home was exactly as described and even better in person. Everything was spotless, well organized, and thoughtfully set up for guests. The amenities were in great condition and made the stay easy and comfortable from the moment we arrived.The host was responsive, welcoming, and very clear with instructions which made check in and the overall experience seamless. The location was perfect and made it easy to relax and enjoy our time.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great experience.

Beautiful House, Perfect for Family Vacation

We were so pleased with the house and service of Tortuga Properties. They provided all the information we needed to plan a successful trip, from the ferry transportation, groceries, local restaurants, and club information. We took advantage of the clubpool

Perfect family house

House was well kid out with plenty of space and awesome porches. Everything was nice and worked great including the golf carts. Super close to the beach and mangos we had the best time!

Great location on the Island. Large house with a great family friendly layout. The screened porches were perfect enjoying outdoor with protection from no see ‘ems. There is plenty of room for large groups to gather together yet, space to have privacy away from the larger group. The kitchen had most of what we needed for basic food prep. The two golf carts made moving around the island easy. We have rented in North Cap for over a decade and we will keep this one on our list for returns.

A Wonderful Paradise

Our family had a great Christmas vacation here we will always remember. The home was comfortable and accommodating for all of us to gather. An ideal location, we were never short of activities during the day with good meals, games and movies in the evenings. The beds were nice, couches were super comfy and washer/dryer surprisingly convenient. Hopefully we will be back someday!

Fabulous reprieve from February in the North

This property, Coastal Soul, worked well for 3 generations of family (6 people total). It is easily accessible to the beach and the pool, the bar/food restaurant, and the small store. It is spacious and well supplied with games and beach toys. Tortuga Properties was attentive to our needs in a timely way. All in all, Coastal Soul contributed to a wonderful vacation.

Family Vacation

The house was beautiful upon arrival. When entering, it was obvious it had been a while since management had walked through or that the owners were there. Over all, it was good. The things we did notice were, dirty baseboards, dirty showers and tile. Dust on most surfaces through the house. Unorganized kitchen cupboards, dishes randomly placed through with little organized technique. Dull knives, little to no small bowls for mixing or small bowl of ice cream or soup. Old and worn pots and pans. Old and worn cutting boards. 2-3 Broken coffee mugs. Broken knife tips. Dish washer literally comes out of the cupboard area whenever opening or filling with dishes. Not mounted in the cupboard. Broken/ rusted chairs on decks, rusted tables outside. The property is beautiful if properly cleaned. Offers many beach chairs etc. comfortable beds, and clean sheets/bedding. Could also benefit from rugs in the front entry.

Thank you for your stay and for your review! We hope that you enjoyed our beautiful remote barrier island and all that North Captiva has to offer! Mgmt walks the property before and after each stay. If informed on any housekeeping item(s) that needs a refresh or revisit, immediately upon notification we send housekeeping back in. Thank you for your feedback our homeowner has replenished new knives, bowls, mugs, and cookware etc. which is a constant and especially during our busy seasons. The new replacement deck chairs that had just been delivered during your stay are now assembled and in the house. With the notification of the dishwasher clamp from the next guests - the dishwasher was replaced. Next time, please simply reach out and we can easily replace any items you may need for your stay or send maintenance over for a dishwasher or any issue. Thank you for choosing Coastal Soul for your vacation!
