Our neighborhood is called Colorado Sierra and sits at about 8500 ft above sea level. We are considered a Surburban Mountain Neighborhood, and most land parcels in our 'hood are all 1-2 acre plots. The roads in our neighborhood are dirt, and the County does a nice job of maintaining them year-round. We require a 4WD/AWD vehicle from November-May in the Colorado Mountains. In the winter during snowstorms, sometimes driveway plowing can take a little time as we are on a local route with a service provider who clears the driveway. Please be prepared and thank you for your patience in the event of a snowstorm. Rest assured, the driveway will be cleared in a reasonable amount of time..

We loved our stay at this cabin! It was an ideal spot to basecamp for daytrips to RMNP, Breckenridge, and Colorado Springs areas. Play during the day, and come home to peace and quiet. We extended our stay, we had such a great time!
Wonderful cozy home with space for activities.
We enjoyed 8 long nights in the area skiing and spending time with family. The key code provided by the host opened the door to a nicely lit fire after a long day on the slopes the first night. The home continued to provided us with the space to make memories and moments we will cherish for a life time. Spectacular place for a small family. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy, Rocky Mountain Cabin. It was a comfortable place for two of us to spend several days hiking and relaxing. There were many hiking options close to the cabin as well as within an hour’s drive. The weather was perfect for sitting on the deck and enjoying time outside reading. We did not have our dogs with us, but the yard would have provided ample space for them to play safely. The main suite was pleasant with a comfortable queen bed, updated bathroom and a generous closet. While the deck has a table and 4 chairs for eating outside when the weather is nice, there is not an indoor dining space which we didn’t notice when perusing the photos prior to arrival. With just two of us in the unit, it wasn’t a big problem but if we had a group there, gathering for meals would have been a challenge. There are a couple of convenience stores very close for basic needs but if you need to make a big shopping trip for groceries or personal needs it’s a good idea to stock up before you arrive at the cabin as it quite a drive to a supermarket which is probably not a surprise in a mountain neighborhood. The garage is a great space. We enjoyed playing ping pong and, although we didn’t make time to use the weight equipment, it appeared that we would have had all we needed to get a good workout. We had no need to use the bonus cabin, but it appeared to be a nice cozy space for sleeping and watching TV. Overall, we enjoyed our time and left feeling relaxed a
Upon arrival there were few lights on the property. I fell on uneven steps. My knee was bruised and bloodied. Main cabin heat was way too high and instructions for heating unit were less than adequate. Bonus cabin was cold and baseboard heat never got unit comfortable. Kitchen faucet drips. Bonus cabin has a hole in the entrance step. Leaving we had one vehicle stuck in the driveway that I eventually had to get a tow truck to pull the car to the road.
I didn't report these to the property manager. In phone calls to the property manager, she was constantly rude and condescending. Offered little or no help, stating the instructions were right there in the manual. The comfort and safety of us was not a priority.
She refused to send her plow person to help on Christmas day. She didn't want to ruin his. She stated she tried to get her friends to help us out and she didn't offer to come to the property to see what was going on. She gave me a towing company number that was out of business. It cost us extra money for tow, and we spent six hours waiting for any kind of help.
We have stayed in other mountain cabins in Co in the winter and the property managers all bent over backwards to make sure our stay was the best. This manager didn't. This was a birthday and Christmas vacation that was ruined.
I will contact the property owner to give him further details.
NEVER AGAIN. May not use VRBO again either.

Paul, this is so disheartening to read, given that your review is not accurate and you've provided a lot of false statements above. We have it clearly listed in various areas how our heating works, that 4x4 is required to get to our home, and i did my best to help you when you called me each day of your stay with questions- we have instructions provided to your prior to your arrival that were ignored, and i was verbally abused on the phone when your car was stuck and i was trying to offer assistance.
this really is so sad that you would feel such a horrible review is warranted.
We wish you all the best, regardless.
