Private Lower Level Apartment w/ Separate Entrance I 30 Day Minimum

Need a central home away from home for 30 days or more? Completely independent light-filled basement apartment of a single family home in a nice neighborhood. Enjoy your own private entrance, private full-size laundry machines, stylish living & dining space, kitchenette, queen bedroom & full bathroom with soaker tub, & a bonus room/office. The kitchenette has a full refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, countertop oven & air fryer and counter cooktop.

Located within a beautiful neighborhood. 5 minutes drive from the Vienna metro, I-66, Mosaic district, 14 miles west of DC, 10 miles to Dulles airport. Access to the apartment is by walking through the side yard to the backyard entrance. Guest has no access to the main house.

The lower level apartment is a 100% independent space, but you will hear passive footsteps and noise from our 4 children under 9 years old, particularly in the morning (6:30-9am) before we’re out and about, and early evening (4-8pm) before bed (or in the summer, throughout the day.) Thus, this space is wonderful for those who work outside of the home and those who don't mind the muffled sounds of a loving and rambunctious family moving above.

There is ample free parking on our street in front of the home for parking. You enter the lower level apartment by walking down a few steps alongside the exterior of the house to the backyard where your “front” entrance is, underneath the back deck (above ground.) The streets have sidewalks on both sides with multiple wooded trails accessible at the end of our street, and many enjoy walking throughout the neighborhood or on the paths. The home is on a very family friendly street, so you will see kids playing in the backyard. The guest suite has blinds on every window & door for your full privacy.

The basement suite has no thermostat, so the guest will not be able to control the temperature. The home is set at 72 degrees.
