We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the clean space, especially the high chair and pack n play for our baby. Families should note there is no baby gate provided. The kitchen could also use a few more basic utensils like scissors and a pizza cutter. Our biggest issue though was a small ant problem downstairs in the bedroom, bathroom, and main living area. We reached out to the host to let them know but didn't get a response. We bought ant traps which helped a little but the ants remained for the duration of our week long stay.
Stayed here with my wife and dog. It was a great place to stay. There is a large nearby trail that we walked nearly everyday.

The garage and entrance to the house from the garage was very dirty. It needs to be cleanedThe kitchen was poorly stocked. No measuring cups. I purchased one and left it. There was one steak knife and a very little silverware. Not enough bowls. Cooking bowls bare minimum. Other bowls were 3 total and nasty plastic. No pot holders or hot pads. Drinking glasses were lacking. Just some junk glasses. It definitely needs an inventory taken and things purchased. The electric appliances were well used. Poor stock of dishesThe living room area rug was filthy dirty. It needs. Cleaned or maybe. Replacement. All linen’s well used and thin. The sheets were also poor quality and a pillow had a big hole in it. There were so many bugs inside the house, ladybugs and box elder bugs. The home has some infestion issues. Downstairs way back in the laundry room are the remains of a creature that has just dried up in the mousetrap Overall the home needs a good down to earth scrubbingMissing light bulbs in light fixturesThe house appears ok with the pictures provided but is dirty. The front door entrance feature unpainted steps up to the place. Bug ridden, wasp nests around the front door. I swept most of it out of there. There is lots of junk left in closets. One bedroom has a very large piece of foam in it. The closet under the stairs is creepy, dirty and rags on the floor. Light bulb burned out there also. I did not have enough detergent to properly wash the bedding
The home was clean and welcoming with cozy beds and an even cozier couch to relax in! There was plenty of room for us to spread out and having an attached two car garage in the MN winter was ideal for bringing in groceries and not having to scrape a car. It snowed twice while we were there and we woke up to a shoveled driveway and steps by 8 a.m!The hosts allowed our family to gather there for Thanksgiving and it was so helpful to have a highchair and pack and play as well as games and two spaces with TVs.The location is in a neighborhood that is suburban, with quick access to the highway, restaurants and shopping.
Staying at this home was a treat! Brian our host was friendly and welcoming.
The house was beautifully remodeled, with wonderful linens, good supplies and equipment in the kitchen, paper products and extras, it was super clean, with comfy beds, nice 2 car garage, sparkling clean gas grill on deck. This is a very strong recommendation! We would come back!
We stayed for two months, using this home as a base for exploration of the Twin Cities and beyond. The two car garage easily fit our teardrop trailer and car, but there is no safe on-street parking on the busy road on the driveway side. Brian was usually responsive to inquiries and was immediately willing to install stair treads when we had a couple of falls on slippery stairs. He was also helpfully flexible on some of the house rules stated in the VRBO listing (e.g., he was fine with our not removing shoes indoors). The next-door neighbor, who is a permanent resident, is quiet and friendly with no kids or pets, and the neighborhood behind the house is quiet and pleasant for walking dogs. There is also easy access to bike trails nearby. The furnishings seem like a realtor show room -- they sometimes lack personality, but everything is comfortable and clean. We missed a few basics in the kitchen such as pot holders, a teakettle, and a toaster oven. The balcony was very pleasant in September and early October, though the downstairs heating wasn't up to the challenge of the coldest nights in late October.
We had a wonderful stay! The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. The bed upstairs with the memory foam.mattress topper was super comfortable, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. Our only duggestion would be to add that to the other beds. We especially loved having the second living area downstairs—it gave everyone plenty of space to spread out and relax. The couch was incredibly comfortable, too! Having access to the garage was another great bonus and made our stay even more convenient. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home to others. Kari
