Summary:
Welcome to LoBo Lake house, our stunning mid-century modern lake house nestled in the beautiful Pipe Lake Chain area, just 90 minutes from the Twin Cities. We are thrilled to host you at this special place. LoBo is named after our two daughters, Bo (age 3) and Lorelei (just born!) and has quickly become one of our favorite places to escape from the Cities and relax as a family. We’ve poured a lot of love into these walls and hope you love LoBo Lake House as much as we do.
The Space:
Please enjoy your time in this peaceful retreat, whether you’re working remotely using our high speed internet, kicking back to relax in front of the TV, diving into the water off of the dock (North Pipe Lake is one of the clearest lakes in the state!) or cooking dinner in our fully-equipped kitchen. Our hope is that LoBo Lake House feels as much like a second home to you as it does to us.
LoBo is great for kids with its open floor plan and carpeted, enclosed staircase.
More about the property: this sleek and clean 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cedar home boasts a design style that reflects the iconic Frank Lloyd Wright characteristics, utilizing straight lines, sharp angles, and large windows that fill the house with natural light.
As you step inside, you'll immediately notice the mix of materials, from clear cedar, knotty cedar, and oak to exposed brick and tile, all coming together to provide an enduring beauty. The house is full of nooks and crannies, providing a sense of coziness and comfort, while also allowing for plenty of space to unwind and relax.
LoBo Lake House features a heated bathroom floor, two foyers, and a large deck overlooking the North Pipe Lake, where you can take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding natural environment.
This property truly is one-of-a-kind and will make you feel at home. Book your stay today and experience the perfect blend of mid-century modern design and lakeside living!
The Neighborhood:
The Pipe and North Pipe Lakes form the 341-acre Pipe Lake Chain, and their deep, clear waters are fully recreational and home to walleye, northern pike, and bass.
Other Things to Note:
Please note that the main floor bedroom walls do not extend all the way to the ceiling, allowing noise and light from the kitchen in. If you're early to bed and your group tends to stay up later, you will want to choose a lower-level bedroom.
