It is a wonderful place for nature, wildlife, and relaxation. The local town and area is great to explore and there are plenty of hiking trails to explore. I highly recommend this place. In addition, the hosts' attention to details shows in how the place is arranged and accommodated: lots of little settle touches that make you comfortable and "vacationy"!

Downeast Magic!

Sweet retreat perched above wide views of the sea, great access to Cutler trails and activities. Inviting, relaxing cabin, well-outfitted. Highly recommended!

We had an awesome stay at Little Bay Retreat! The place is immaculately clean and so comfortable as a home base for exploring this area of DownEast Maine. The views from the deck are constantly changing with the tide, so much to just sit and enjoy. Visited Lubec having lunch at the old sardine factory overlooking the water, went to West Quoddy State Park and walked the trails and visited the lighthouse, went to Jasper Beach and discovered a wonderful nearby restaurant south of Machias called The Public House, affiliated with West Branch Farms, and enjoyed lobsters from Capt Matt eating them in the Gazebo as the sun set over the bay. Highly recommend a stay at Little Bay.

Down East Adventure!

We had a wonderful spot to start our adventures from, and recap them at the end of each day! There is still more to see and do - good reason to plan to visit again!

Beautiful

We had a wonderful time exploring all of the little towns within an hour drive. We spent the day out and about and came home in the evening to make dinner, explore a local beach and sit on the back deck to enjoy the scenery!

The place was great. Very clean. Nice view. Close to a few good restaurants. They need better pillows, but that's my only gripe. Everything else about the home was spectacular.
