Blue Mountain Getaway has everything you need for an escape in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains - hot tub, fire pit, game room w/ ping pong table & wet bar, yard games, a winery across the road, 🐶 pet friendly, access to the Appalachian Trail, horse farms, Shenandoah river outfitters, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Skyline Caverns, many wineries, and even summer camps for kids. Great for large groups or two families and only 1hr 15m from DC. High speed internet WFH / WFA. Generator.

Make yourself at home! guests have access to the entire property except for a couple small owners closets and the shed beside the house.

We want your stay to be as perfect as possible. Two people monitor the app so that is the best way to reach us.

On top of Blue Mountain, across the country road from Fox Meadow Winery.

You should drive. There is limited Uber and Lyft service. The Virginia Breeze intercity bus goes from Union Station and Falls Church to Front Royal. We have used this to have people meet Is there.

WFH / WFA with high speed internet and two desks.
Shoes off by the door please! We are happy to host you pets but we do not allow pets on the furniture or on the beds.

Our group used the property for a team retreat. It was great for our small group and we loved that it was also near Fox Meadow Vineyard. The listing matched the property and the hosts were responsive to any messages sent.

The Blue Mountain Getaway was the perfect rental for a long weekend with a group of friends. The entire property was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed all of the living spaces available and the beautiful view of the mountains. The proximity to wineries and hiking was unbeatable. Aaron was also very responsive and flexible throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this rental!

Wonderful property

We had a wonderful stay. It was the perfect size for our family and had a great fenced in yard for the dogs. Beautiful view of the vineyard and mountains. Great trails for hiking just up the road. We all agreed we would stay here again.

Weekend Visit

The home was extremely well appointed; everything you could need was available. The was plenty of space and everything was extremely clean and tidy. The location is fantastic and the view was excellent. Very nice that it is across the street from an excellent winery.

Beautiful vacation spot!

We stayed here with our kids and grandkids and had a wonderful time. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we could have wanted, including a very well stocked kitchen, lots of games and entertainment, and a huge yard with a darling play cabin and a hot tub! The view across the vineyards and valley were stunning, and a short walk took us to a winery where we could relax, enjoy wine and charcuterie, and savor the views. A perfect spot for a getaway.

Visiting Shenandoah since our usual go-to in Asheville is sadly not available. Well worth it- access to nice things may mean travel on a dirt road and that’s just fine.

Wonderful Home with Beautiful Views

Our mother daughter trip to Linden for wine tasting had the best home base. The house was as good or better than pictured because there is no way to accurately capture the beautiful view from the living room. The home was clean, well stocked and so close to everything we wanted to do. We also brought our Goldendoodle who loved the big fenced in backyard. We highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting the area!! Thank you!

Great Thanksgiving!

Our family really enjoyed staying at the Blue Mountain Getaway. Aaron was the perfect host, quick to respond to questions prior to the rental and even providing a full inventory of kitchen dishes to help us plan for our Thanksgiving dinner. The house was immaculate; the beds were comfortable; and the ability to gather in multiple locations throughout the house meant our extended family had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and silverware for 12, lots of pots and pans, and every small appliance imaginable. The second refrigerator downstairs made storing our groceries for the holiday weekend even easier. The children in our group enjoyed the extra TV downstairs along with the ping pong table. Aaron provided plenty of towels and extra blankets, cleaning supplies, paper products, and even trashbags. All his guests have to do is relax and enjoy the mountain views!! Highly recommend!
