Lakefront home for the whole family! Lake views from the main living area, deck and lower level. Porch swing, Ping Pong table, canoe, kayaks and more!

Comforters, blankets, sheets, pillows and bath towels are included. All beds are made prior to check-in, so you can walk in, put your things down and start relaxing.


MAIN LEVEL:
Great room with vaulted ceilings, large windows and three sets of sliding glass doors opening to the lakeside deck. Sectional sofa, kitchen open to living room, and dining table that seats 12. Large Smart TV. One full bath with shower/tub combination. Two bedrooms with one queen bed each. Laundry closet with full-size washer and dryer.

UPPER LEVEL:
Master suite with king size bed. Full bath with separate shower and jetted bathtub.

LOWER LEVEL:
Walk-out basement with lake views. Large family room with Smart TV and foosball table. Table for playing cards and games. One full bath with shower/tub combination. One bedroom with queen bed. One bedroom with two sets of bunk beds (equal to four twins).

Other amenities: Pack-n-play. High chair,. Two crock pots. Board games and puzzles. Ceiling fans in every room (except bunk bed room)

OUTDOOR AREAS:
Screened in porch accessible from great room, front steps and back deck. Picnic table, ceiling fan and outdoor furniture for relaxing.

Lakeview deck accessible from main level sliding glass doors, and stairs to backyard. Outdoor dining table for six, outdoor seating and grill for cooking.

Outdoor porch under deck accessible from lower level. Outdoor porch swing, Ping Pong table.

Large slightly sloped yard down to water. Picnic table down near water.

Dock with space for relaxing and sunbathing, four Adirondack chairs and one side table. Ramp may be used for swimming and person entry (at your own risk), but is NOT available for launching boats. There are a few public access ramps about ten minutes away. Graduated water levels to about 8 feet deep at end of the dock. Cleats on both sides of boathouse for docking.

Two single kayaks, one double kayak, and one canoe. Paddles provided, some life jackets/PFDs available.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Set the two thermostats to A/C 74 degrees/Heat 65 degrees.
Place any used sheets/towels in laundry closet. Place trash bags in outdoor bins.
Set outdoor items as when arrived, including life vests, canoes/paddles, outdoor furniture, ping pong table, etc.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No parties or events to be held at the property.
$100 penalty per person per day if over the 12 person limit.
No Parking on back lawn due to septic. Parking allowed on driveway and to the right of the driveway in the front of the house.

Awesome stay!

We had an awesome time at this lovely home on Lake Gaston. It had everything we needed for our group, and we loved the deep water at the dock to swim!

We absolutely love this place—have stayed there twice. It is cozy with incredible views and a dock and swimming area that just beckon you to the water. Positioning on the lake is great. It’s everything a lakehouse should be! Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful.

Great Vacation Stay

Owners go all out to accommodate guests. Games, puzzles and even spices in the kitchen cabinet. Just all kinds of room. If someone wants a little quiet time there is a space for them.

This is our 8th year on the lake staying at different places. This house ranks near the top! Great location. Deep water to jump and dive in, but still in a cove so the water is calm. Great grassy yard. Kayaks were a bonus! The house fit us all perfectly. It was nice to have the kids use the downstairs and the adults on the main level. Kitchen was stocked with all amenities. The house was very clean. Thank you for having us!

Amazing home

The Rookery was a beautiful home with more amenities than we could have hoped for. Jess has thought of every detail and there is nothing more we could have hoped for! The water pressure in the showers was great. We took advantage of ping pong and foosball, and the many other board games that were available. Not only was the kitchen fully stocked, but there was cabinet space available for all of our groceries.
