Wonderful luxury apartment

This apartment was amazing and the people we rented it from were great to deal with! Our son was at mass general hospital for three weeks having surgery and recovering and the location of the apartment couldn't have been better! It was quiet, clean, and very comfortable. The apartment it's self was huge and had plenty of room for our family to stay and be comfortable. The concierge was always helpful. I would absolutely rent here again and highly recommend this property!

We had a good experience but not great

This si a nice apartment, with a good location and good service. The apartment has nice veiw with good spaces, bathrooms and kitchen. Bed sheets were a little bit dirty and the rug as well. Part of the furniture was in bad conditions, and the matresses of all bes as well. The concierge and the person that was in charge of the apartment were very nice.

Apartment

While we did enjoy our stay in Boston, the apartment was in fact dirty. Unless it was a top surface, i.e. TV, it was dirty. The owner was very pleasant and I will admit that we did not call her. That's on me!

Disappointing -- not as described; poorly maintain

We were thrilled to rent this apartment with a view of the river. When our rental request was accepted, we confirmed with Paula that it indeed had a view and was one of the apartments shown on the website. Since we have returned home, I notice that they have added some new pictures showing an apartment with a partial river view. That is the apartment we were given and "partial" is a stretch. It has a view of MGH. This particular apartment was very poorly maintained and was dirty. The kitchen was not "fully loaded". There was one double bed in each of the bedrooms. The "straw that broke the camel's back" was when we pulled back the sheets and found that they were dirty. A call to Paula resulted in her suggesting we change the sheets ourselves and talk in the morning. The next morning Peter became our contact and he was more interested in telling us how fortunate we were to be renting an apartment in such a nice area of the city than he was in addressing the maintenance and cleaning issues. After many phone calls, he agreed to send someone to clean the apartment the following morning at 8:00. She arrived about 9:20 and didn't speak English; we ended up cancelling our plans for the morning so we could show her the things that needed cleaning. The maintenance crew from the apartment also showed up and did a nice job of fixing the issues that could be easily fixed. The website states that the front desk is staffed by a concierge 24/7. They were very friendly, but not at all well informed -- more of a receptionist than a concierge. They weren't able to tell us how to get to Whole Foods a few blocks away, didn't know anything about the subways (they drive), etc. All that said, the apartment was spacious and in a very convenient area of town. When the weather is bad it's easy to cut through MGH and come out at the Red Line. The Green Line was also accessible in the opposite direction.

Amazing view and perfect location

The apartment was right behind MGH, which was very convenient for us as we were there for the hospital.. the apartment was overall clean and almos everything was there, we just needed to buy very few supplies for cleaning.. all concierges we dealt with were very nice and friendly.. the building overall is quite and welcoming.. and the big windows of the apartment were, to me, the best feature! The kids (ages 3, 8, and 10) enjoyed their time in the apartment and enjoyed playing at the very near by playground next to the river - you can reach there by walking over the bridge, so ut is pretty safe with no need to cross streets! We could even spot the river and the parks before it from the sitting room's window.. If I ever go to Boston I would defanitely consider staying there again! Totally recommended!

Perfect for International visitors!

I stayed in a beautiful apartment on Charles River. The flat was very big compared to before when I stay in Boston. I do not speak good english but I can call the company and they always help. I come and stay with them 2 months now and come back next year again. everything very clean and nice with all cooking supply, bathroom supply and sheets, towels new.

The most relaxing and accessible place in Boston

Coming in to the city for medical treatment, we needed a place to get away from what was happening in the hospital. The staff, building and location could not have been better for this. My new go-to in Boston!

About the host

Host profile image
I’ve been hosting families and long-term guests in Boston for several years, and it’s been one of the most meaningful parts of my life. I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to have a calm, comfortable space—especially when a loved one is receiving care at the hospital.

I take pride in offering clean, thoughtfully furnished homes in safe neighborhoods, and I’m always happy to help guests feel settled during what can be a stressful time. Whether you’re here for medical treatment, a long work project, or a family visit, I want you to feel at home.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood offers the perfect blend of quiet, walkability, and access to some of Boston’s best institutions. It’s located right by the Charles River and just steps from Mass General Hospital, making it ideal for families supporting loved ones in care or those coming for long-term medical treatment.

I also love that it’s easy to walk to local parks, grocery stores, restaurants, and public transit. You can enjoy a peaceful environment, but still be connected to everything Boston has to offer.

What makes this property unique

What sets this property apart is the balance of comfort, convenience, and care-focused amenities. Guests love the in-unit washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, and peaceful river views—especially when staying for several weeks. The building is secure, modern, and offers thoughtful touches like a gym, outdoor grills, and a staffed front desk.

But more than that, the space is designed for people going through real-life situations—often emotional, medical, or transitional. I prioritize cleanliness, quiet, and responsiveness, so you can focus on what matters most.
