Welcome to Loretta's Lodge, a modern three story 2900 sq ft "A-frame" cabin with 8 beds, 8 ft Barrel Sauna, and bathrooms on each level and heated floors throughout just 6 miles from Lutsen Mountain! We have for you an 8 ft barrel sauna with winter views of Lake Superior, that sits 6-8 people. Take in the views with floor to ceiling windows on all three levels. Shuffleboard, Darts, Peloton bike, fuseball, bags, big jenga, and board games will keep you occupied on bad weather days, while the two decks, grill, hammock and firepit will let you soak up the outdoors.

Convenient for the North Shore hiking trails, mountain biking, and golfing at Superior National Golf Course. Loft, game room, outdoor seating, and great decks with a view of Lake Superior! Grand Marais is just a 25 minute drive away. We are located right off Hwy 61 just 5 minutes from North Shore’s famous Fika Coffee and convenient to all the local hikes.

This home is fully equipped to host a group of up to 12(1 king, 3 queens, and 4 full size beds)! Fully stocked kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher, crock pot, blender coffee machine and more! Our dining room table seats 10 adults and overlooks Lake Superior. Walk out to the grill for easy access!

3 separate bedrooms and Loft, and each floor with their own designated bathroom and each bedroom on an individual floor for plenty of privacy. In addition, have a large loft are upstairs, with a nice fold-out couch, and fold-out couch out couch downstairs. The bunk room is tucked away in the basement so you can throw the kiddos down there ;)

This was our second time staying at Loretta’s Lodge and it was a great place to spend time. The hosts communicated well and the house was very clean. Unfortunately, there was a lack of toilet paper (no extra rolls) and an absence of bedding for both pull out sofa beds. It is very convenient to be able to park in the garage out of the elements.

We had a really wonderful stay at Loretta’s Lodge! The setting was stunning, and the space was perfect for our group of six adults and five children! Clark and Emily were extremely responsive hosts and helped us when an issue arose. The house is very well appointed and the firepit was especially lovely for our group. Clark and Emily live in Minneapolis and love vacationing with their two young children up on the Minnesota's North Shore! The purchased Loretta's Lodge (named after their eldest) with the hopes of getting their kids to love hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter just as much as they do!

Why they chose this property

Loretta's Lodge is conveniently located just 1.5 miles inland from Highway 61. We chose this property because of its beautiful, secluded property while still being close to all the major hikes and attraction that Lutsen and Grand Marais have to offer.

What makes this property unique

We specifically designed this home for families and friends to gather. Everything from the dining seating, to the outdoor spaces, to the basement game room was specifically designed to bring your group together, while still offering privacy of your own bedroom to retreat to after a fun filled day of hiking or skiing.
