Beautiful cabin with a fabulous view of the lake. The screened in porch was wonderful in keeping the bugs away. Although there really were no bugs. Very quiet and very close to all necessities, gasoline, groceries, post office, gitchi gammi bicycle trail. The solitude was just what we were looking for.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. The hilltop location and wooded property, with Lake Superior views made us feel we in our own private paradise! The location is convenient for a variety of day trips and nearby activities. We went on some beautiful hikes in the local state parks, and also enjoyed the wildflowers and berries blooming right on the cabin’s property. We loved the whole experience: bird watching from the screened porch, star gazing on the patio, and meals (with-a-view) we made in the well-appointed kitchen. John was a great host - very responsive. He was really accommodating when we asked if we could extend our stay.

The place is cleaned very well. You can tell the cleaner and owner really care about this. Everything works. All the lights and appliances work great. The washing machine and dryer are convenient. The beds are comfortable. You feel isolated here, but you're right next to a winery and 5 minutes from a general store, gas, post office, etc. John is a great host. Highly recommend.

Superior Views Bunkhouse was perfect for my husband and me and our dog. We stayed for 4 nights - enjoying the clear view of the lake (sunrises were beautiful), the tree colors, and the stars. Location was great for all the hiking that we did during the day. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back another time.
