Beautiful Lake Superior shoreline property. Very clean and comfortable beds with charm and easy relaxation. Charming place and hosts. Only complaint was the very sensitive smoke detectors that made cooking a bit challenging.

This was a beautiful location on the shore. We stayed for a weekend skiing at Lutsen. The drive to the mountain was only 10 minutes and worked perfectly for our family. We had everything we needed for our stay.

Cannot say enough good things about this property! Clean, beautiful, cozy, fully stocked, and the path down to the lake and fire pit with views of the lake were just dreamy.

Great location and property but important clarification on what you are rentingWe had a nice stay at this property. The Lake Superior location is what truly makes this place special, the views, the access to the shoreline, the fire pit right there with the lake in front of you. The property itself is clean and well maintained, and the owners were welcoming to us and our two dogs. We genuinely enjoyed our time here.That said, I want to flag an important discrepancy: the listing is categorized as "Entire home," but this is actually a separate lower-level unit within the owners' occupied house, not a standalone property. This distinction wasn't clear from the listing description. Because the owners live upstairs, we were aware of their presence and it understandably affected how we used the space. We arrived somewhat confused about the setup initially.The Lake Superior views and location are excellent, and the property itself is nice. But if you are booking because you expect a standalone rental with full privacy, this isn't it. The listing should be transparent about this arrangement so guests can make an informed decision. That clarity will actually help the right guests find this place and enjoy it for what it truly is.
