Come see paradise for yourself! This is arguably the most beautiful waterfront property in all of the Crystal Coast. Watch the sun rise and set from our south facing island cottage. It is known to be the closest Harker's Island Home to Shackleford Banks, at less than 2 miles. Cape Lookout Lighthouse is in clear view! Fishing, hunting, shelling & other water adventures are all at your fingertips.

PETS: Please let us know if you would like to bring a pet. This requires a conversation with the Hosts prior to finalizing the booking. Generally we are ok with 1 to 2 pets totaling up to 50 lbs. There will be a $100 pet fee for each pet applied to the reservation.

*The Dollar General Store is within walking distance and Billy's Grocery is less than 1 mile.

*Seaside Galley Restaurant and Fish Hook Grill are both less than 1 mile.

Bring your boat and anchor along our backyard shoreline! The public boat ramp is a 5 minute boat ride away from our property. There is space on the east side of our home for your boat trailer to be parked during your Crystal Coast vacation.

*Shackleford Banks can be reached by boat in 5 minutes .
*Cape Lookout can be reached by boat in 10 minutes.
*Beaufort Waterfront/Taylor's Creek can be reached by boat in 10 minutes.

We enjoyed our stay here.I wanted to check out harkers island and this was a good place for doing that. We enjoyed the yard and the beautiful sunsets.The people we met on the island and at cape lookout were the best part of the trip.#1 tip make sure you take bug spray,according to the locals their bugs love out of town visitors.

Perfect getaway

Nancy was a wonderful host and super helpful! The property grounds are gorgeous and we spent much of our time outside or on the water. The ferry over to Cape Lookout is just down the road and easy to get to. They have kayaks on site available to use. We brought both of our pups and they had a blast playing in the water during load tide. Will definitely be back next year!

Very spacious. Pet friendly. Great view across the water from the backyard. Quiet neighborhood. We definitely recommend a ferry ride from the island to the Cape Lookout Lighthouse.

This house felt like home!!! Easy check in and the BEST communication with our host leading up to our stay and even during our stay to make sure we made it safely. Quiet Getaway

It was nice getting away from the busy and loud traffic of a typical beach vacation. The day we spent at the beach on Cape Lookout amazing. We had the whole beach to ourselves. We paddled across the sound to get to Shackleford another day. Our last day we headed to Atlantic beach for the Aquarium and putt-putt. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the Fish Hood Grill was. It's ~0.8 mile walk from the house. Would recommend! Will be back!
