Fully upgraded house with beautiful bathroom tiles and white oak railings, modern Kitchen..
Huge Rec room in the lower level with foosball table , air hockey table and a beautiful pool table.
House is pet friendly and has 2 huge decks on the front deck there is sitting/lounging setting plus dinning set and there is a built in hot tub plus 2 lounging/sun bath chairs.
Front deck has access to fire pit area, children playground and fruit tree garden.
There will be romantic vibe during the night time with all the lights around the fire pit and fruit trees.

Lovely weekend getaway

Great spot not too far from the ferry. Lovely open plan living space for hanging out with friends and hosting. Comfortable rooms.

Great Location, Lots of Space, Needs a deep clean

We had a great stay and made some wonderful family memories. That said, the cleanliness on arrival could have been better—floors were dirty, tables had drink stains, and some dishes were put away unwashed. We did a quick clean ourselves to feel more comfortable. Definitely been used since photos in post were taken. Feels like the house needs a deep clean. The place was spacious and had enough room for our family. .

Overall, a good house to stay at when you are looking for a place that accommodates large groups.However, you can definitely tell that this is a rental property, as it is a revolving door of bookings, one after another.On a surface level, it is presentable and organized.However, there are glaring oversights on this property. While clean, there was black hair found in the drains. There is a wasp nest in the rafters above the porch.The games room in the basement is well stocked, however the pool table, foosball table, and air hockey all do not work properly.They have a trampoline outside but the host clearly stated that it is broken and should not be used.

Weekend rental

Unfortunately you can tell this property has been well used since the initial photos were taken and didn't live up to the photos depicted in the listing. It would really benefit from a deep clean. Lots of debris buildup on surfaces, windows and in drawers. I did communicate this with the host who informed me they would rectify the situation and make it up to me, but then I never received any follow up communication even after making an additional inquiry. Hopefully this will be rectified for future users of this property.The good things...central location, enough space for large group, ample parking, host did communicate check-in instructions promptly.

This has the potential to be a great property but we had similar concerns with the cleanliness/maintenance of the property as previous reviewers. When we arrived the washrooms were neglected in the cleaning (dirt on the floor, stains on the mirror), areas of the main floor needed vacuuming, there were dirty dishes in the cupboards and the microwave was quite dirty. The shower in the ensuite bathroom was clogged and not draining. The biggest concern was that we discovered mice in the kitchen. We found droppings on the counters, had a bag of buns that were chewed through and saw rodents moving between the kitchen vent and stove. The hot tub also needed cleaning before we used it The water was quite cloudy with a thick scum. That being said, the games room and outdoor area are great for kids. There is a lovely fire pit but firewood was not supplied.

Cool Fire Pit…

This property has a lot of potential. The hot tub is nice, and the fire pit is great. There’s AC as well and many bedrooms and bathrooms. The location, although sometimes loud as it’s close to the highway, is close to many beaches, the Gumboot Cafe, Gibsons, etc. Our biggest disappointment with our stay was the level of cleanliness. After five minutes of being inside the property, our feet were black. So we all wore our shoes inside the entire trip. They were cobwebs, dust, crumbs on chairs etc. it’s clear it was cleaned very superficially. The hot tub was nice, but not hot enough upon our arrival. For a “luxury stay “ the kitchen was not well appointed. For example, we could not find a wooden spoon. The kids toys and playground outside were very rundown. It’s disappointing when you pay these high rental prices and receive poor quality. This is a cool property with could be great if the owners out some time and money into it. Overall, need lots of improvements.
