About this property
Dragonfly Healing Farm
Cozy Ohana, located on a beautiful 5 acre working avocado farm.
Picture perfect ocean views away from the hustle and bustle of Kona, but close enough to have a great day in town to return home to your quiet piece of paradise. Your 300 sq ft lanai has an unobstructed view of Kona coast.
Fully stocked kitchen with induction stovetop and ocean views from both windows.
Large bedroom with beautiful views of the Mauka side. Features king size bed with high quality bedding for your comfort after a full day exploring the island. Small nook with bunkbeds is a fun area for the kids to crash.
Living room has comfortable furniture to relax and enjoy the TV if you desire. Additional bedding for the Murphy bed provided upon request. Free dedicated WIFI (not shared with main house).
Our home runs on catchment, which means we rely on rain for our water. It goes through 3 filters so tap water is perfectly fine to drink!
We are located between Kona and the volcano, situated at 2200 feet elevation which is great to escape the heat. No more driving all day, you will be there in half the time.
Feel free to walk our fully fenced 5 acres and enjoy that we have over 70 avocado trees, lychee, papayas, oranges, Tahitian limes, variegated lemons, apples and bananas! We also have 1 dog, 3 cats, and about 20 chickens that you are welcome to pet and feed (please ask for feed).
Beaches within 30 minutes driving distance include Green and Black Sand beaches, Two Step Beach, and Pebble Beach. And we are just a short drive to Captain Cook with all its coffee shops, cafes and restaurants, fruit stands, antique shops, and more.
We do live on the property and there are usually other family members and friends around. The Ohana is close to the main house so you will see us but you DO have privacy and sound insulation from main house. Please keep in mind that we are a working farm. While it is quiet and peaceful here vast majority of the time, you may occasionally hear our farm vehicle or other equipment.
This is your vacation! Let us make this a trip to remember.
We would love to help with any additional activities during your stay. We have snorkel equipment and beach toys available for your use.
Jordan is a professional chef and would be happy to prepare meals for you if you preorder (additional charges apply). And Natasha is a Real Estate Agent (in case you want to make Hawai’i home or investment opportunity!) and a certified Pilates instructor who would be happy to offer private Pilates sessions (additional charges apply).
Let us help make this an unforgettable getaway.

Beautiful spot very peaceful, comfortable bed plenty of kitchen items, spices to cook with. The only thing I would have wanted was more time to enjoy it.
This was a lovely place to stay for our family of six (kids ranging 9-16). It is not new, but it has a lovely homey feel and was clean. We put two kids in bunk beds, one on the couch, and another on the living room bed. The living room space was comfortable for watching movies together and the dining room/lanai accommodated us well for meals. We appreciated that the location was a bit cooler (no AC needed) and secluded, making it worth the slightly longer drive to local beaches. I really appreciated that there were a variety of stocked pantry items that minimized the condiments/spices/etc that we needed to buy in town. The hosts were very kind and welcoming to both us and our children.
The property and was very well maintained , sharing a bathroom with 4 people was challenging at times, the kitchen was excellent , the tv access to many channels was great, the only negative was the location was a bit far out of town from Kalua , the frogs at night were loud and like all of Hawaii the roosters wake you up at 5:30 every morning . very nice farm like property
The space was lovely and had everything we needed. The hosts Natasha & Jordan are gracious and friendly, and responded promptly to our inquiries and needs.I recommend this sweet, vacation spot!
The little house was clean, comfortable and in a very nice location of an avocado farm. We would stay there again.

We really appreciated Ksenia and her party, they were lovely guests. Ksenia shared a little bit of the reason for their visit and it was great getting to know them.
Very friendly, left the house very clean, and very were just a joy to host.
We would love to welcome them back any time!
Loved the hosts but the cottage itself could use a bit of updating and cleaning (mostly the kitchen). Would stay again as the location was great for us

Thanks for the feedback, Deb. I can’t tell you how much I’m dreaming of renovating this cottage, especially the kitchen! We’ve been doing a variety of updates for over a year, as budget allows, and the kitchen is such a big project we have to plan it and budget for it way in advance.
Hope you come back to visit!
A nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Kona but within reach of Captain Cook and Volcanoe / Hilo areas. We enjoyed our short stay chilling on the deck and exploring the farm with short drives to 2 step snorkelling and coffee farms and cafes. Nice place to return after a long day of exploring.
A special location to relax with spectacular sunset and clear skies to see the stars. Convenient location if going to both Hilo and Kona. Natasha and Jordan were great hosts and made the stay enjoyable.
Natasha and Jordan’s place did not disappoint and was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful yet a good jumping off point for the island’s activities.

Come back any time!
Easy check in and check out! Clean. Great hosts! Chill relaxed setting. Ample room for our entire family. Coqui frogs serenaded us at night! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We had great stay at Natasha's place. The view is incredible and we enjoyed watching sunsets from the large lanai. Our daughter visited with the animals and we got to see some of the fruit that grows on the property. The space is comfortable and well equipped and central to many attractions on the Kona side of the island. We highly recommend staying here!

Although our paths didn’t cross with Natasha and Jordan - they made it known that they were always available. The Dragonfly Healing Farm was full of warm aloha spirit. Simple and well taken care of, it was the perfect place to unwind each day before venturing throughout the island. Mahalo!!
My two daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The sounds through the night, I will miss the most. Waking up to the chickens made me feel at home! The charm this place has is amazing. The location allowed us to explore the area and not drive all day.
We loved our stay on the farm! It was private and open, the stars are UNBEATABLE. There are great sleeping options for the whole family and lots of space to spread out in just 2 rooms. Everything is a drive in Kona, so this spot was perfect for what we wanted to do. The water catchment is super cool, though we had a hard time adjusting to the taste for drinking and really appreciated that the hosts very generously provided bottled water option too. Would definitely stay again!
