We stayed for a long weekend. Me, my wife, and our three kids(2,4,9). It was nothing short of perfect. The hosts hospitality was great! The property had everything to do that we wanted. We enjoyed some hiking, fishing, trail riding, grilling, turkey watching, and just plain relaxing. Thank you! We will be back probably this year even
Love this property and hosts.Completely off grid in the middle of the woods. Snowmobile trails were great. We had a small power issue that cut the trip short. 2ft of snow blocked the solar panels and then the backup system had issues. Hosts did everything they could to help, but mother nature kinda took her course. We will be back again, and again. Absolutely love this cabin.
Was a perfect getaway and place to stay during our time up there for our annual SXS new years ride. Will definitely be looking to rent this cabin again in the summer!!
We loved spending Thanksgiving with our kids at the cabin. There was plenty of activities to do exploring the outdoors. We also had a great time shopping at all the little local stores. We appreciated the Thanksgiving place settings that were there when we arrived.
Dream Cabin in the woods. Trails all over the place. Had a great time, will definitely be back. Great place to have a family vacation. Plan on bringing kids and grandkids next time.
We love this place!! We came back to stay for the weekend after a couple months. It's the perfect place to find some simplicity and so much natural beauty. We just love all the space and seclusion!
We loved our stay at this cabin! We were a little nervous about getting there because it’s so off grid, but the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We loved kayaking on the river and exploring the trails on the property and cooking on the charcoal grill. We can’t wait to come back next year!
We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! The cabin itself is very spacious, clean, and comes with everything you need. There were personal touches that were really nice including a smores making kit and they even left us treats for our dogs. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
The property is really secluded and our dogs loved exploring the trails. They also loved chilling on the back deck and by the fire pit. The observation deck has a great view! Also our one dog loved swimming in the river. The hosts are very responsive and super nice and accommodating. We cannot wait to visit again!
This property is beautiful! Nature lovers paradise. The cabin is cozy and tidy. If you're looking to stay more than a couple days storing any groceries may be a problem due to no pantry o cabinets but for a weekend like ours it was perfect! Host was helpful and quick to respond as well
The property was more than expected! It was beautiful and peaceful...and all around a wonderful experience. Thank you so much for opening your home to our family and being the most accommodating hosts!
You guys truly are the best!
We truly appreciate the time and effort that has been spent making this property the perfect place for our family. The swing was my favourite place to just take in the beauty of nature. The kids enjoyed fishing and swimming in the river. Loved the location of the fire pit. Be prepared for lots of bugs flying around when the sun goes down. I can honestly say I can’t think of one thing preventing us from coming back. The only things that were a bit of a challenge was the drive into the property and the upstairs bedroom was warm at night. Our family truly appreciated the s’mores kit and all the other extras available. We hope to come back again soon!
We had a wonderful time here!! It's so secluded and quiet. All you hear are the sounds of nature. We even saw a blue tailed lizard, it was awesome! The cabin itself is beautiful and cozy. The owners provided detailed instructions and they were very helpful. Thank you so much for the smores fixings!! :) We would definitely return to this property!
Loved the quietness, space for yard games and the LOVED the back deck. Even though it was remote, was nice to have WIFI and Starlink. Owners were real nice to communicate with. Nice location, not too far from Cadillac, Manistee, Traverse City, Mount Pleasant, etc. The trail in could use some fill, although it did rain pretty hard when we were away one day. Even though the trail had alot of water in the dips, my sons malibu still made it through. Lol...Owners also made a few things available for us to use which was SWEET! The items left for Smore were appreciated and YUMMY!!! Had a great time!
This was the second time I've stayed at this cabin. Once with my husband and once with friends. The cabin fit for both scenarios. There is plenty of room and everything is very clean. I have never had such accommodating owners when renting a place either. The property has plenty of places to explore and the sunsets are out of this world. For the price, you get so much out of it. River access, full amenities, several places to sleep. You really can't go wrong renting here. My only piece is advice is to never book a river trip through the canoe rental place that is about 25 minutes away. I wish we would have just launched from the cabin. Other than that it was a great time all around!
Absolutely wonderful! Will definitely go back! Totally off the grid! Becky was a wonderful host! We couldnt of ask for a better place!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!
