IMPORTANT: While snow is possible from September - May in this area, guests should use caution when booking between November and April as extreme winter conditions are likely in this region. Make sure you are prepared as blowing snow and bitter cold temps in South Park can make roads impassible. Review road conditions and weather forecasts before your stay to plan accordingly. 4WD is REQUIRED from Nov-April. You should also plan to bring extra food and water in the event that you are snowed in. The cabin is equipped with firewood, a snow shovel and lanterns but please also ensure your vehicle is stocked with extra food, water and blankets as you travel to and from this destination.
