Very clean and homey cabin that was perfect for our 3-day fall getaway. Great location to access local hikes. The bed was very comfy. Despite the proximity to the county road, it was quiet and peaceful.
OMG this place was so charming and Northwoods-y. Beds were comfy, wood interior was awesome (and smelled good!). If you're looking to be near Christie Mountain, it's right there; otherwise, it's like 12-15 minutes into downtown Bruce.Communication was super smooth. We are already talking about reasons to make a return trip :)
My husband and I stayed at this cozy cabin while catching up on some family history from the area. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed including plenty of coffee, which we enjoyed tremendously while sitting on the front porch in the mornings and late afternoons. It was a perfect getaway in a beautiful area. We hope to go back in the winter to enjoy the area skiing. Alexis was very responsive and a great host. One thing to note, cell phone reception is spotty, so be sure to download your check in information prior to getting too far away from reception.
Alexis gave us all the information we needed to check in and check out. Check out excpectaions were not at all unreasonable.. The cabin was clean, cute, and cozy. Pictures when you view this property are accurate. Loved the large bed. Very comfy.

The cabin was everything we expected and wanted. We spent a week enjoying the fireplace, reading, watching movies, doing puzzles, basically spending quality time together.
We needed place to stay close to an area we were looking to find a camping spot. It had what we needed to accommodate our whole family from toddlers to teens and our family dog. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your little slice of peaceful heaven on earth.
A little respite to enjoy the area and the fall colors. The cabin was the perfect for for us. Easy access, different outdoor activities and the view of the porch of the trees was splendid.
The cabin featured very cabin like features. For the price it was well worth it. Only thing we didn’t like was that the cabin’s backyard was facing the main road which was not included in pictures. Cabin was pin on the wrong point on the map .Overall for a last minute trip the price was worth it.
The property is just how it is listed. Communication was easy and they responded in a timely manner. Very beautiful and peaceful. Hiking trails are nearby along with a few lakes. My husband and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary there and are looking forward to staying there again.
Winding cabin was great clean and a nice cabin for two people it was great. One item that I thought was misleading was it said fire wood provided there was no fire wood at the cabin.

Cute cabin, poor communication
The cabin was very cute and clean! Beds were comfortable. Not quite as remote as I had hoped- there is a large house just thru the trees and a paved highway directly behind the cabin. Host was friendly but lacked communication. Didn’t respond to multiple messages before the trip. check in/check out instructions were not provided.

Hi Kelsi!
Thank you for your review! It's always fascinating to hear creative interpretations of reality. While we appreciate your flair for storytelling, I must clarify that our property is not next to a highway—unless you consider the peaceful sounds of nature a highway. As for communication, we pride ourselves on being available and providing clear check-in instructions, which you apparently missed. Perhaps next time, a little more attention to detail could enhance your stay!
Wishing you safe travels on your future adventures, wherever they may take you.
