Great cabin stay

Wonderful set up for 10 adults and 2 young kids - we enjoyed all that the cabin had to offer! We rented a pontoon and enjoyed bonfires each night. Detailed information from host was appreciated - we would stay again!

Beautiful winter getaway

We had a wonderful time back at this beautiful cabin. The view of the lake is stunning! There was lots of space for our group of 3 families. We loved being fairly close to Hayward and ski trails. We’ve already booked a return visit for next year.

The perfect getaway

This was our second stay in this lovely home, and it was a fantastic week! The house is well stocked with kitchen items, from a crock pot to coffee maker… we appreciate how well stocked it is. The location on the lake is prime, as you have two docks, and the sunset views are just stunning from the deck. Utilized the kayaks and caught a good amount of Northern right off the point!

Family Vacation

This is our 2nd year staying here and we really enjoy it! We love having the 2 docks for our families boats. We used the basement for movie nights and the kayaks for some mom time away :). Plenty of yard for yard games and deck space for playing cards. It has worked well for our family so we booked next years vacation already.

We came up for the Christmas Holidays with out of state family. The home was beautiful as well as the spectacular views, the weather did not cooperate that particular week, but we had plenty to do for entertainment and just talking by the fireplace. Beautiful

We enjoyed the special touches throughout the home. Views of the lake & sunsets were enjoyed from inside, out on the balcony, from the fire pit and the two docs. The screened porch was a nice option to enjoy bug free! We enjoyed the pool table, great kitchen for cooking and comfy couches and bedding. Amy is wonderful to work with. Thank you!

Great Stay

My family and I enjoyed this cabin very much! Everything was as pictured, and exceeded expectations. Beds were comfortable, there were plenty of extra throw blankets for cuddling up for a movie on a rainy day. The docks were well maintained and the little table and chairs were perfect for hanging out on the dock. The cabin was well appointed and there was nothing we wished we had but didn’t. One mention is that the grill is actually a flat top. We loved it but would’ve planned a little differently if we had known.

Great cabin for family trip!

The cabin and property were great. The lake was awesome with lots of water to explore- we rented a pontoon and loved our time on the lake and at the sand bars. We wished the area by the docks was better for swimming, but that isn’t always controllable. There is no beach or good shallow water for littles on the property, which was the only downside for our group. The two docks, kayaks, game room, fire pit, local pontoon rental, and ample yard space kept us all busy and entertained! Many reviews complained about the garage situation- though it is a bit of a hassle, it is doable. We would highly recommend this cabin for other groups/ families!

Beautiful Quiet Home

We enjoyed our stay overall. When we arrived we had to contact the owner to turn the air on as it was in the 80s and very warm in the home, we could not get the DISH TVs to work the entire stay and when I text the owners they never replied. The day before we left there was no WiFi. The advertisement lists 5 bedrooms. There are 3 bedrooms, an open loft and a pull out sofa bed in the living room. The house is stocked full of dishes and cookware. The view is amazing, the area is quiet. It is tricky to get there the first time and after dark but overall we all had a lovely stay for my daughter’s wedding.

Satisfying End of Summer Stay

We had 3 generations stay and the house is set up nicely for that! We had one family upstairs, one family on the main floor and one family downstairs. There were toys for the kiddo which were a big hit. The fire pit is in a great location for use! The downstairs area with pool table was so fun for the adults! We caught so many fish, we had enough for a fish fry - delish! The house was clean and very well equipped with pans, spices, utensils, etc! The ONLY bummer of the house was the trash situation. Having multiple families stay for 7 days creates a bit of trash, having to take the trash with you is a bit gross when you have all your luggage as well. The pontoon rental was easy and convenient being on the same lake (would have been nice to be able to keep overnight however!). We drove to a "beach" near Birchwood which satisfied the 3 year olds need for swimming and sand! Owners were easy to contact and work with! Lots of pros, very little cons - Perfect end to summer stay!

The location and home are absolutely stunning. I can highly recommend this property for that reason. We had some big meals planned for our visit, and the fact that the grill and the dishwasher were not working made it very challenging. I understand that break-downs happen, and do not blame the very responsive hosts for that. There is, however, a lack of decent cookware, and the bedding is very ‘tired’. Other than those issues, the hosts and the property were top notch.

It’s a nice property, the house was clean and plenty of room for my family. The pool and foosball tables were a plus that I wasn’t expecting. This was the first properties we have stayed at where had to run the dishwasher before we left and put all the cleaned dishes away. Usually we only had to load and run the dishwasher. Also the owner did tell us that we had to go across the lake with our trash or take it home with us. All this should have been on the property details not sent separately with instructions. If it had been in details I may off looked elsewhere.

Great fishing, very relaxing, beautiful location

We had such an awesome time here! The place was super cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and we really felt at home the whole time. It was just right for a relaxing getaway. The blue gill fishing next to the doc was fantastic, our poles barely hit the water and we were already reeling them in. Kid approved. The only tiny things to mention: the sliding doors on the main floor were a little tricky to open, and the pool table balls kept getting stuck.Overall we would definitely come back!
