A secluded cottage on a beautiful, serene acre (plus) waterfront lot

The property is 1 1/4 acres in a secluded quiet area with no visible neighbors. It is a place to connect with nature and enjoy true peace and serenity. You can fall asleep at night listening to the sound of the running water and wake up to the sounds of nature. Read a book on the deck or take afternoon naps in the hammock. Fish from the back yard. The creek has native trout and is stocked. Watch the fish jump out of the water from the back deck. See the deer crossing the creek and a blue heron searching for fish on the rocks. The deck has a picnic table and a grill for outdoor eating. There is a patio with adirondeck chairs and a fire pit to sit around at night and watch the stars. There is a kayak for you to use in the creek to relax or fish and river tubes to float. You can use the beach chair if you want to just sit and cool off with the water running over you.

This house is bright and cheerful with lots of light. Art fills the walls giving it soul and colorfulness. It is a magical place filled with inspiring pieces from my travels.

OUTSIDE THE PROPERTY...

There is a path across the creek to walk along and a small lake on the top of the hill.

THIS HOUSE FEATURES...

One guest bedroom, 1 large bathroom, eat in kitchen, living room with a wood burning fireplace and high cathedral ceilings, a sun room with comfortable furniture and a laundry area. The whole back of the house has windows that look out onto the creek. There is Wifi, television, DVD and a stereo CD player. There is a portable floor air conditioner in the kitchen and living room area and ceiling and floor fans in each room. Most of the time it is cool enough that it is not needed. I love to keep the windows open to hear the sounds of nature and the running water. The guest bedroom has a full size mattress, desk and dresser. The sun room has comfortable modular furniture that you can sink into. It can be rearranged to comfortably sleep 2 persons... This room overlooks the creek with 2 large windows and a sky light. There is a folding standing divider if you want privacy.

Dogs are welcome, however, they are not allowed on the furniture. Luna, the neighborhood dog most likely will visit you during your stay. She is super- friendly and most of my guests and their dogs love her and her visits. (see reviews)
