This Lake Front Cabin is a really neat place. This is the second time we've stayed here and we really enjoy the cabin and the boat dock. Right on the main body of the lake, 2 boat slips and plenty of room on the deck to hang out and swim. I'm sure we'll be back again soon.
House was great and very clean. Kitchen could use a few basics like a baking sheet, but overall was fine and we weren't trying to make anything elaborate anyway. We made it work! Stays pretty warm upstairs even with AC running, bedroom downstairs was very comfortable though and we slept well. We had a relaxing couple of days and got to check out the new state park nearby
We had never been to Palo Pinto before and had no idea how beautiful it was! Huge rocks, hills all around the lake. The tiny house was so cute and had almost everything you could want. And that dock and little house on the water. WOW! We will definitely be back when it's a bit cooler.

About the host

Originally there was no house, only the dock. My husband and I spent many weekends sleeping in the loft of the dock, all the windows open, nothing but the soft movement of the water rocking the dock to lull us to sleep. It quickly became apparent that in our retirement years, the hike up and down the stairs to the dock was not going to be easy for us. An idea for a tiny house was born. We started with 300sqft. and no room for growth. After a couple of years we decided we needed to expand our tiny home. There wasn't enough room to expand out so we went down, and our two level tiny house was born. We are so proud to share our labor of love with others while we explore some of our other interest.
