Houseboat in the off season

I love to stay in weird, alternative places. We were visiting the Lake Powell area for a couple of days and decided a house boat would be fun! And it was. The check in process was a little wonky but I’m assuming it was just because it was off season and we arrived after dark. We were the only ones there so it was peaceful and quiet. Because it was December we didn’t take the houseboat out of the dock, so it was literally just a hotel room on water. But it checked the box on being a fun place to stay. The only issue we had was the water stopped working on the second night but they got it fixed quickly. Tip: Take quick showers, the hot water didn’t last long but that’s expected when you’re staying on a boat. All in all would do it again. Looking forward to coming back in warmer months to get the full lake Powell boating experience.
