Step back in time when you enter this quaint little basement area. The space was great! The furniture reminds me of my grandmother’s when I was a little girl. The owner was precious!
Pros-The bungalow was clean.Bed was comfortableCons- Tv was very small. Bathroom and furniture was dated. The water pipes in bathroom were noisy. Upstairs tenant was drying shoes in their dryer right outside of our bedroom. NoisyFootboard on bed left bruises on my wife's leg from bumping into it..2 towels, 2 wash rags. Nothing extra if needed.Very dark when checking in. Couldn't see lock box because of no light.Refrigerator was not very cold..
Overall we were pleased with our stay. The host really helped us with recs on places to go while we were in town, and the check-in and check-out procedures were clear and easy.
The only issue we had was that the bathroom wasn’t clean. There was some hair on the walls of the shower and the curtain looked old and dirty. This was most likely a one off situation where the cleaning crew missed it, but nonetheless it was a bit gross.
For the cost, the stay was sufficient and the communication was great. I would recommend it for a quiet stay near town.
The property was so clean and tidy. The downtown area, hiking trail, and Walmart was only 9 minutes from the house. The bed was comfy and shower water pressure amazing! We would definitely stay again!

Bungalow regret
The bathroom presented fall hazards and should have had handrails for older people. I could not help but wonder if a person fell and broke a hip—who would be responsible for the medical bills. Also, there was some kind of motor running after flushing the commode. Could not wonder if pumping sewage uphill. Also, the people upstairs were heard walking at all hours of the night. Sorry but I can’t recommend this for anyone especially older people.
Our hostess was lovely and very attentive. The location is perfect for getting around to all of the local wineries. There is a large kitchen and comfortable furniture. The bed was lovely after long days out, we slept very well.
Great experience! Just as described. Very clean and comfortable. Check-In and Check-Out were easy and MaryElizabeth was very responsive to all of our questions. Highly recommend!
