Overall, we enjoyed our stay. On site staff were pleasant. The check in process was easy, the condo was relatively clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. We reported a few issues with the condo while there. We could not get the hot water to work in the shower and Scenic Stays staff responded quickly (within an hour) on a weekday. The issue turned out to be user error.You just have to turn the handle away from the "H" toward the "C" to get hot water. We also reported that the front left burner on the stove does not heat up. The other 3 work fine so this wasn't a problem during our stay. The dishwasher had a loose part but worked without problems (we reported this as well). The furniture in the living area and on the balcony was comfortable for the 3 of us. While there are pots and pans in the kitchen, I recommend bringing your own nonstick skillet as the ones supplied are very scratched up and difficult to clean. The beach was lovely and not too crowded. The beach service for chairs/ umbrellas was easy to access. We were grateful for the public ramp access next door for my mom who has trouble with stairs. The pool was open but not useable as there was a large number of bugs in/around the water during our stay. Great food selection nearby with restaurants like Angelina's pasta/pizza, Cafe 30A, great ice cream and donut shops a short walk away. We especially enjoyed beautiful daily sunrise and sunset views from the balcony. For groups of 4 or less OSP is a solid 30A option.

Good location but lacking overall

One Seagrove Place was in a perfect location, and you truly cannot beat the view! Unfortunately, there were some difficulties during our stay. We called ahead of our travel to ensure that the complex had working elevators and were reassured that there are. Upon our arrival, one of the two elevators was completely shut down, and midway during our stay, the only working elevator for 21 floors was out of service, requiring guests to use the stairs. I understand things happen, but to go from having only having one working elevator to no working elevators for a huge complex was seemed dangerous, inconvenient, and unnecessary. Additionally, our condo was well appointed but was very much in need of a deeper clean. Food waste and splashes were visible over the walls in the kitchen, the area rugs were visibly full of dirt and sand, and the white sofa was completely stained and off color. We would not choose this condo again, although we might consider the overall complex in the future. Scenic Stays as a whole was a pleasure to work with and responsive to our needs before check in.
