The perfect getaway

This home is perfect. We almost didn’t want to leave to go anywhere else because we had everything we needed at the house. The heated pool, the bocce court, the fire pit, the list goes on. I highly recommend this home to anyone.

Thank you for your positive review, however because you and your guests broke multiple house rules we are not able to give you a favorable rating. A large party took place, people were smoking, a guest urinated on our grounds, and the number of people onsite exceeded our limit. In addition, a guest posted a video to his instagram account of the party, including a DJ booth set up in our kitchen & a person dancing on our counter. This occurred after we were assured by you in writing that you and your guests were not there to party, and then you denied it until we showed you the video as proof. We sincerely did not want to leave a negative review, as sometimes honest mistakes happen - however, the fact that there were multiple rules broken, and so blatantly, left us with no choice. We wish you the best and hope that in the future you will treat others' homes with more respect than you showed ours.

Blissful stay- what a treat!

We had the most blissful stay. We comfortably housed my parents and two children, and their nanny, in this home for a week. We enjoyed every minute of it! We took advantage of all the perks of the home: we used the pool multiple times a day, walked into town for dinner and coffee, and even played bocce! The gardens and yard are exactly as beautiful as the pictures; if anything, they are even more inviting than they appear. We appreciated Mini's kindness and accessibility as well. Highly recommend, and hoping to come back one day! We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful East Hampton Property

This was my family’s first time to the Hamptons, and after staying here we hope it certainly won’t be our last. The house was equipped with every amenity we could have wanted- Nespresso coffee maker, great selection of chef’s knives for cooking, Bocce ball court, heated pool to name a few.We traveled with our three small children, so having a place that felt like a home away from home was essential. Aside from the house being absolutely beautiful, it also has an incredible location that’s extremely walkable to town. The property owners were also very kind and helpful, making the check in process seamless. They provided lots of suggestions on things to do in town and also communicated promptly with any questions that arose. We had the best time at this house and hope to stay again in the future!

Beautiful Property & Home, Great Location

Our family (5 people: mom, dad, baby, grandparents) rented Kevin & Karen’s home for a family vacation. We had a great time and would rent here again in a heartbeat. Here are a few reasons why we would recommend this property: 1. The property is simply beautiful. Better than the photos. Between the electric gate, hedges, and trees, the lot is very private and quiet. The gardens are stunning. There is a large heated pool and outdoor kitchen and dining area that looks straight out of a home decor magazine. 2. The house is clean, comfortable, spacious, and very well maintained. It’s not a big house, but there was plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out. Large dining room, living room, and enclosed porch. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. Bedrooms and bathrooms are large. 3. You can’t beat the location. Short walk to East Hampton restaurants and shops. 2 blocks to East Hampton Grill, another 5 minute walk up to the rest of East Hampton. We walked everywhere pretty much. Quick drive to other villages. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood. 4. Karen and Kevin were great to work with. Karen was very responsive and helpful before and after our rental, although we didn’t need anything upon arrival, Kevin kindly stopped by and spent time explaining the gardens to my mother at her request. We hope others enjoy this rental as much as we did!

On the edge of the village, pure perfection!

Had a wonderful new years vacation with friends. Walking distance to village and short bike ride to beach. The best restaurant was just a 5 minute walk away. Everything was so clean, and crisp. We felt like it was our home away from home!

Beautiful Home and Gardens

Our family had a lovely stay at this property. This beautiful home is set amidst beautiful gardens and its location is convenient to getting around East Hampton. The home is very comfortable and very well maintained. The owners were incredibly responsive and ensured that we had a wonderful stay. This home offers comfortable bedrooms, many indoor common spaces (including a lovely sun porch), and carefully designed gardens to enjoy.

Family vacation to East Hampton!

We have the most wonderful stay at the Cedar St house! From the lush, green gardens to the newly renovated home, we couldn’t have been more happy with our home for the week! All of us were extremely comfortable and the various common spaces allowed us to escape to quiet time if needed! We spent several afternoons floating in the pool and playing cards at the outdoor table! The grill allowed us to enjoy dinner at home as well! We were a short walk from the East Hampton village and restaurants and were able to get to Sag Harbor, Amagansett and Montauk easily. We highly recommend this home and hope to stay there again one day for future family trips!

Just stunning..! The gardens & pool created an oasis resort. One of the best rentals in EH.

What a terrific week we had at this gorgeous oasis! It was as close to a secluded paradise resort that you’d find anywhere in the Hamptons. Lovely appointments:: the orchids, lush towels & linens, soaps, stocked espresso makers, etc) The owner is a professional landscaper & the gardens & pool - with the special lighting on exotic plantings - was stunning..!!! (Esp. at night!) All the bedrooms were lovely & the master was gorgeous..!! (& brand new.) I’ve rented many homes over the years out east, & this was by far the most luscious - & fun! You don’t have to be too precious bc it’s made for guests & fully stocked. We had wonderful dinners every night on the lit elegant porch, and also inside dining at the chandeliered dining table. Good for couple bc each will have enough space for some privacy - yet it works well at bringing everyone together. Would ‘highly’ recommend for a rental consideration. Close to EH downtown & any dining spots. We had no issues at all & actually met the owner. What a lovely, super creative great guy. Also, there’s a fireplace for cozy off season renting. I invited two of my children and three grandchildren to join me this year in East Hampton. I'd owned my own home in this lovely hamlet for many years and nostalgia always brings me back. However, this was different from other lovely homes I've rented previously, no matter how posh, because of the incredibly beautiful landscape that surrounds the shingled farmhouse. Unless you personally experience having breakfast under the loggia, or be charmed visually by the multitude of blooming grape myrtle trees and walk serpentine pathways to find imaginative bird houses on unexpected perches, you cannot really imagine the gardens. At night the the landscape turns magical as there is lighting that is truly creative and awesome. Of course I rate this entire experience as Excellent and recommend it to all who enjoy such luxury.

Fantastic!

We had a great stay at this beautiful beach house! This home is exactly how it is depicted on the website (which I find rare). This house is treated as a home- it doesn't feel like a rental. We have a family of 6 and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. Kevin is a landscape designer so with the house comes the amazing exterior landscaping, and the landscaping provides you with full privacy. Kevin had great restaurant recommendations and was full of helpful information. We highly recommend this house and hope to be back next year. -Kevin and Nancy

Great Family Vacation

My family and I rented this home while visiting East Hampton for a family wedding. This home is truly spectacular. I understand that recent renovations have been done to the home and everything is put together beautifully. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out, but like most families we gathered in the kitchen. The home is close to town, which made it easy to pick up last minute items that we had forgotten. The owner, Kevin, was helpful answering questions and providing recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We would love to return this summer to enjoy the pool and yard.

Fun Weekend in East Hampton!

Myself and another family rented the house the last week of June and had a fabulous time! The pool and backyard - gorgeous! The fact that the house is literally within walking distance to the best restaurants, the farmers market and into town made it a great trip for us and the kids! The owner, Kevin, was nothing but attentive and was available for any questions/concerns. I look forward to going back next year!
