The location was perfect, not too close to Main Street, so it is quiet, but an easy walk to all the things you want to do on or near main. We would definitely book here again.

This was a last-minute trip, and although we only stayed one night, we really enjoyed our time here! The privacy of the backyard was a huge plus, and the hot tub was perfect, especially with the first cool front of the year rolling in. It made for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Very close to main street . Wish we could've stayed longer! We would definitely book again!

We rented the house for a weekend trip to Octoberfest. It was walkable to downtown. The sauna and hot tub were relaxing. The set up is perfect for two people. Highly recommended!

Adorable and well-maintained house, perfect for a couples getaway. The outdoor space was our favorite part, and we wished we could have stayed longer. The neighborhood was quiet, and the sauna was especially peaceful and relaxing. Thoughtful little touches throughout made the entire experience feel seamless and welcoming. My wife and I LOVED our stay at Bliss Cottage! Our first time to Fredericksburg and enjoyed the getaway. The location was so convenient and everything was so clean and comfortable — wish we had more time there! Very quiet and so many amenities we didn’t get to enjoy everything this place had to offer. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a private retreat to get away and relax, while being close to the shops, restaurants, and wineries that Fredericksburg has to offer.

Gorgeous design, host thought of absolutely everything. Amenities are five star. Hot tub is fabulous, location is two minute drive from shopping, restaurants galore, grocery, museum. Comfortable and beautiful home.

We Loved this Place

My husband and I love traveling to Fredericksburg and decided to spend our third wedding anniversary there. This house was perfect! It truly had everything we needed. The bed was very comforable and the backyard was the perfect space for our two pups. We both loved the hot tub with the view of the sky from the back porch. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wife’s “30th” Birthday Getaway

This cute little cottage was exactly what we needed for a romantic long weekend getaway with my wife to celebrate her birthday. She was thrilled with the furnishings, the coziness and the amenities of the cottage. Also, if you love me to take a stroll, the access to the shops on Main Street is very convenient.

Amazing Place!

This place is beautiful! The design and the custom woodwork was impressive! Every little detail was thought of. They communicated well! They checked on us to make sure all was well. We had groceries delivered. The bed was out of this world comfortable, and we are picky about mattresses and we slept great every night! Will stay again!

We absolutely loved this property! I wish we could have spent another day just to relax at the house. The full kitchen is stocked with spices for cooking. I would have loved to stop at a local, German market and picked up some food to cook. The back yard is fantastic! We were able to sit and drink a bourbon before we headed out for Oktoberfest. Wish we could have enjoyed the bean bags game, firepit and sun chairs. The back yard is very private. The house is old and redone immaculately. We loved every part of this stay. The walk to the best shopping is 6 blocks but it's a nice walk through the neighborhood filled with very old, renovated homes. I will definitely come back to Fredericksburg and would stay at this location again.
