Cozy cabin in the Cherokee National Forest. Minutes from Hiwassee River.
Welcome to our tiny cabin! Our one bedroom cabin includes a queen bed, and a set of bunk beds in a separate, closed off nook. The living room has vaulted ceilings and a corner kitchen nook.
Enjoy your large fire pit looking at the stars with the soothing sounds of the forest around you. We provide all the firewood you will need for the fire pit and the wood burning stove for those cool nights.
The Hiwassee River is a 6-minute drive from the cabin. There you can rent kayaks or innertubes from a few outfitters and take a nice long float down the river. These outfitters are only open during seasonal times. You can also enjoy fishing along the river. There are many parks and picnic areas within 15 minutes of the cabin. Across from one of those parks is a short hike that has 4 separate waterfalls (Lowry Falls). People love this short hike.
One of our favorite things to do is to go back in time on the Hiwassee Loop Train Ride. The 50-mile ride takes about 5 hours. You will get to hear the history of the train and the towns it passes through. The railroad was built in the1890's. The Beautiful views of the Hiwassee River Gorge are breathtaking.
If you want a peaceful place to just get away and relax for a while, we believe this cabin is going to be a place you will love.

Was perfect for our overnight stay for two adults. Lots of thoughtful features including S'mores supplies and many coffee and tea options. Recommended!
I needed to reschedule in April, and the host was very flexible accomodating. The property was clean and quaint, and the check-in and check-out process was simple. Great stay.
Scott has a very unique and cozy stay here! He was extremely accommodating and easy to reach. The cabin was well stocked and the wood stove was a delight and a highlight of our weekend. We drove the cherohala sky way and did a couple hikes. A fantastic weekend!
What a charming little spot for a small family! with room to sleep 4, cozy blankets everywhere, full kitchen functionality, and a handy-dandy temperature meter for the shower. Reading the cute wood-burned plaques on the walls I provided reason to smile and chuckle. Definitely a spot intended for families! It's s slow drive up the mountain in the dark, but once at the cabin...it's worth it!
We stayed one night in between other locations on a longer trip and it was perfect. Peaceful area, pretty drive in to the cabin and the cabin was a great example of a well done tiny home. We left with some inspiration for future building plans of our own!
The cabin was everything and more than we could have asked for....the hosts were excellent with communication....we plan to go again and stay here to relax and enjoy nature....10 out of 10 recommend!!
We really enjoyed our short stay at your cabin. Every detail down to extra charging cables was thought of. There was an issue with the hot water thenight before but owner took care i
f ut the next day.
My husband and I had a great time staying here with our two dogs. The location is great to get away from the day-to-day hustle and bustle, but close enough to where you can drive into towns like telico . We spent time relaxing and enjoying the property as well as driving into tellico and finding nearby hikes! We're very thankful for the property owners and everything they did to make our stay comfortable and easy. The dogs next door that are not theirs, did come over quite a bit but thankfully they got along with our dogs fine! We would definitely come stay again!
Our family of four had everything we needed at this quiet, cozy cabin. It was clean and fully stocked in the kitchen for cooking. The location is very close to the river and we were within 5 min to Webb Brothers to enjoy our float down the Hiwassee. The owners were so nice and so helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely be back!
A beautiful little spot in the woods. Loved the cabin layout and interior design. A warming and loving place to unplug and get away from the normal dullness of life.
We absolutely loved our stay in this quaint little cabin in the mountains. Our hosts went out of their way to provide all the amenities that we could ever need and want. We enjoyed the coffee, s’mores bar, and tea and how homey the cabin felt. Our favorite part was the front porch where we enjoyed our coffee in the morning. Looking forward to returning again soon.
This cabin is great, they went above and beyond. There is snacks and firewood provided. Very clean and comfortable. The neighbors dogs are so sweet and friendly.
There is no cell service out there but starlink is provided.
The road to get to the cabin is very twisty, just take your time and enjoy the scenery
This was the perfect little place for a our girls trip. Each year we paddle down the hiawassee river and we were looking to extend our time together. The cabin was only 10 min away. It had everything we needed even down to the firewood and s’mores. We sat on the deck and relaxed then played cornhle and had a great time. Cell service is limited up there but we had WIFI which was nice. We even had our own personal guard dog who watched out us while we were there. He was super sweet and cute. Thanks for a wonderful visit we will be back.
The host informed us that the room was ready for check-in earlier than scheduled. (We actually arrived well after the scheduled check-in time...wish we would have had more time on this property🙂)
Everything was as advertised, if not better!
The hosts were exceptionally thoughtful and provided items that would be easily overlooked by most travelers, but very much appreciated to have...ie. 🔦, small Bluetooth speaker. They also had a jar of snacks for the guests as well as all the necessary ingredients to make s'mores at their AWESOME campfire ring! (We left our unopened s'mores ingredients that we had brought for the trip, enjoy!) The neighbor's dogs were adorable...but if you're not a dog person, you will have to figure that out. (They were friendly and very sweet.) Absofuckinlutely love our stay here! Thank you for having us! *Recommend B & B restaurant for an awesome and VERY affordable breakfast and local option.🙂
It was very nice and quiet. Appreciate the snacks, loved the bunk bed, nice kitchen and living area, nice front porch, and loved the neighborhood dog visit.
We were visiting the Reliance area for end of summer rafting and hiking. We really enjoyed our stay in the cozy cabin. It was completely furnished with everything we needed plus a lot of extra comfort items, snacks, games and even cornhole and fire pit for outdoor fun. Shortly after our arrival, a car hit a power pole and the electricity went off. The property owners came right over and explained the situation, brought a generator and extension cords and even offered to pick up dinner for us. Thankfully the power was restored before too long and we had a great time. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts and will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.
