If you are planning an outdoor wedding, having a family reunion, need a getaway with friends, or looking for a workplace, team or church retreat venue, Englishton Park offers a unique, spacious and charming private space on a beautiful 250-acre campus in Southeastern Indiana. We have recently opened the entire facility for public use. Englishton Park includes the Rawson Center lodging space, a two-story brick building with a full kitchen, restrooms, showers, seven upstairs sleeping rooms with twin beds and a well-equipped conference/dining area on the first floor that seats up to 20. There are two shelter houses on the property, one adjacent to the Rawson Center and one near the lovely Lower Lake. You can walk one of the many wooded trails and explore the larger Upper Lake encircled by a forest. For more than 180 years, Englishton Park has been a beautiful, peaceful refuge from the hustle of daily life. The campus originally served as the summer estate of the prominent "Hoosier" William Hayden English and later this son, Captain William E. English. Rental of the Rawson Center includes use of all the outdoor amenities including the lakes, shelter houses, playground and other features. You will be the only renter on the property during your stay - you have access to the entire facility!
